Delicious Chinese and Japanese Cuisine 3/28/2006

The Sampan Inn has wonderful, reasonably priced Japanese and Chinese cuisine. We usually get takeout, and it is ready quickly and always includes all the sauces and extras that we might need. I especially like the Singapore Noodles which have just the right amount of spice, and the Spider sushi roll which is loaded with soft shell crab and no extra mayonnaise or anything weird. The best thing about this place though, is that the food is not your typical greasy takeout Chinese food, it is wonderfully fresh and tasty. more

Sooo Good 2/3/2006

The Sampan Inn really has the best Chinese food in the area. Their pork fried rice is full of chunks of pork and onions. It's really one of the best pork fried rice's I've had. Their entrées tend to be on the more expensive side, but I guess you are paying for the good quality. more

Best Chinese In Delco! 11/11/2005

Sam Pan is thee best Chinese food you are going to find in Delaware County! Trust me, once you have had Sam pan, you will not want fast food Chinese food again. Located right off Darby Road on Brookline Blvd, they have a large dining room and fast and friendly pick up. If you go, try the Sesame Chicken. Whole chucks of real, white chicken breast in a spicy brown sauce and sesame seeds, also try a spring roll – They are the best! more

This place has the best Chinese and Japanese food 8/19/2005

This is one of my favorite places to eat. it is located in the hear t of Havertown, PA on Brookline Blvd. You can dine there or take out. Call ahead for fast take out. This place has won numerous Best Of Main Line magazine awards. The food is always fresh and free of MSG. I highly recommend the Spicy Chicken and green beans or the Sesame Chicken. You can also order sushi. They have a sushi bar too. The restaurant is clean inside and attentive servers. They also offer a special lunch menu. Lunch specials include soup, entree, rice and crispy spring roll. They also have the most delicious spring rolls! more

This local taste of Asia in the heart of Havertown provides a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy reasonably priced cuisine. Recently expanded, both spaciously and food wise, it now offers two sections: Japanese and Chinese. A popular stop for weekend visits, as well as for Haverford Middle and High School students after school. more
