Great little shop in the heart of Czech Village in Cedar Rapids. They sell nice casual and horse show clothing for children, women, and men. Nice selection of boots and hats as well. They carry both English and Western tack and clothing. They do have a few horse tack items on consignment as well as sell new items. They also handcraft saddles, halters, and bridles right in the back room! A true art! Nice selection of horsie gifts, bits, and miscellaneous items you need for your horse. Wonderful atmosphere. Parking around the back of the building or across the street. more

Horse stuff 8/9/2005

I have purchased horse care items and halters at this store in the past. I love to come in and browse through the western clothes and boots. There is a good selection of bits on the wall as well. I like the fact that there is on-site saddle repair. Parking is across the street in a lot. I love the aroma when you first walk in. Mmm, leather. more

This store carries a wide variety of horse related items. They have items for riding such as boots, helmets and riding clothes. But most people don't realize that they also have Breyer collectible horses and other horse-themed items like blankets and t-shirts. They staff is very helpful and will help you find the right helmet and adjust it. more

Western Store 7/17/2005

You gotta love this type of store. Locally run. There is even a man in that does leather repair in the back of the store. You can even watch him work on items. The floor is a creaky old wood floor that has seen a lot of customers. They offer new items: saddles, tack, boots, western clothes for pleasure and show, horse care items and some gift items as well. Be sure to notice the horseshoes in the cement entryway. more
