The name of this store is misleading. I thought that it would have just glassware items. Actually that is just a small portion of what they carry. They have lamps, furniture, home decor, and jewelry. This is not a "cheap" store but their items are of high quality so that makes up for the higher prices. I bought a picture frame and a bracelet here. The staff is very friendly and not pushy at all.

When we went shoppping for patio furniture, we wanted something nicer than the Traget or Kmart brands. Ralston Creek has a larger selection of patio furniture. The sales staff helped us chose a patio set that would work for us.
The main thing that sold me were the chairs. Their chairs are much nicer than discount stores. They swivel and bounce. We have had our set for 2 years and still love it.

When you have kids, you need to save money! A friend told me about this store several years ago. I have purchased many items here for my children - mainly jackets and pants.
They carry used name brand kids clothing. Some prices are higher than Kmart but you are getting name brands that will hold up to kids wear and tear.
The store is located in a house and the small parking lot is around the back. It is very crowded in the house. Different rooms are for different sizes. They also have baby items.

This is the most convenient bowling center by my house. My kids like to go bowling especially Bumper Bowling. Cedar Rapids Bowling Center can get very busy since they have bowling leagues and also sand volleyball. I would recommend calling ahead to find out a good time to go with kids. We have gone several times after school and have had no problems getting 2 lanes to do bumper bowling. They do have a concession stand and some video games also.

Yes, they have a ton of model train accessories but they also carry model airplane accessories. Found lots of things that I didn't even know existed. We had alot of fun browsing the store.

Both of my children attended Bethany Luthern Preschool. It was a wonderful experince for all of us. I like the fact that they encourage parent involvement. The kids learned so many things. The children give 2 music concerts per year. The preschool is very well run and the teachers are wonderful. I highly recommend this preschool.

I went to this store when it opened with high hopes! Needless to say my hopes have been dashed. Since then I have returned about 6 times. I thought maybe I was just there on a bad day. Nope! I have never bought a single item here. Their prices are too high! I see things for sale there that are cheaper on Ebay even when you include shipping. I thought it was a "resale" store. In my opinion, don't waste you time here.

I thought that the store would be just nuts and food. Yes, they have some great nuts and unusual trail mixes. But they also carry Naomi's Soaps. Naoim's soaps are handmade and really wonderful. Stop here and you will be surprised at what you might find.

Everytime I am looking for furniture, I check out Bills Bros Fright Salvage. The only thing I ever bought here was a lamp. They have discounted furniture. It doesn't look really cheap but it also doesn't look expensive.
They do have chairs, sofas, and dining sets. If you are on a strict budget then you may want to check them out. If not, then don't bother stopping here.

We have been using Colony Heating and Air Conditioning for several years. We have been pleased with the service. They come and check our furnace and air conditioner.
It is nice that they send out a postcard when your furnace needs to be checked again. I like that since I can never seem to remember when I had it done. Also they do give a discount for doing both the air conditioner check and furnace check at the same time.
