Riehl Events

I was determined to hire the best for our event as my boss had given me the task to do. I interviewed many different event planners and narrowed it down to two as per their background, creativity and style. However, it was Riehl Event's staff that won me over. Creative and style is only the start of what they have to make your event the best it can possibly be. We hired Riehl Events from the very beginning of our planning and their budgeting skills, contract negotiations, and knowledge of the best vendors for the price saved us so much money and effort, they paid for themselves just with those 3 items, yet they did so much more. I've read the other reviews and am astounded to find a couple that have not had positive things to say. We did not have any issues with Jacque or any of her staff. They were very with it, on board with whatever we threw at them, and had the most creative ideas I've ever seen or heard of. Their planning worksheets, including the budgeting worksheet and timeline worksheet, were very clear, concise and left nothing to question. They alway returned our phone calls, had great insite as to what had worked and not worked for them in the past and was always open and honest with us each step of the way. The vendors that we hired loved working with Riehl Events. Riehl Events had a great working relationship with everyone we came across in the event industry. Jacque is very good at handling people, including some of the people on our planning board for this event that I would have considered very difficult to deal with. She is very diplomatic and calm with everyone she works with and so is her team. In fact, we had a little incident that happened with a guest at our event that we didn't even know happened until several days after the event was over. Jacque and her team took care of the incident and didn't let it ruin our evening. We feel very lucky to have had Riehl Events on board to make our HUGE evening perfect for us and our guests. This company is great when it comes to corporate event planning and production. We had a huge event we needed to throw together very quickly for a very VIP guest list and they were able to pull it off without a hitch. They immediately too everything under control, were thorough, creative, detail oriented, budget minded and put on an event that our guests will never forget. They took our ideas and built upon them to create an event we never could have imagined. Their processes are easy and stress free. We will be doing this event every year from now and no matter where we decide to do it (we are considering doing it in different cities throughout the world each year), Riehl Events will be creating it for us. I was unsure as to whether to hire a planner for our wedding, but I am very glad we did. I thought I could do it all myself as I had helped other friends with their weddings and have entertained friends before, but I quickly found out that EVERY bride deserves to have a planner. You just can't do it all yourself. I interviewed 5 other event planners in the Utah area and fell in love with Jacque and her staff immediately. There was no question as to who I was going to hire. Budget was another issue as I didn't think we could afford a planner, but as I found out, I couldn't afford to not have a planner. Riehl Events kept us from making many costly mistakes, negotiated our contracts so we got the best possible prices, had great vendors to recommend that were in our budget and was so creative with the decor and all the little details that made our guest just swoon over our day. That was 6 months ago and our guests are still talking about it being the best wedding they have ever been too. It was formal but not stuffy and every turn of the event had something that our guests were enamoured with. It was truly unbelievable. Then we went to our room after the wedding and it was truly romatic! Jacque and her staff had gone in and left us champagne, thrown rose petals all over, had truffles and snacks for us and had ran a warm bath with rose petals for us to enjoy that evening. I was so shocked and amazed I started to cry. It was their gift to us and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend every bride hire a planner and the planning company to have is Riehl Events! This company has a nice image that makes you think they are really good at what they do. They seem to be very professional at first and they do have a lot of great ideas.
