Love my salon and stylist!!!!! 3/24/2011

I have been seeing Ana for 2 and a half years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. I have very thick hair and she is the queen of removing bulk. She listens, keeps up on current trends, and is very professional. She has literally improved the look and feel of my hair. She also does my highlights and I get compliments all the time that I have beautiful blonde hair. I have had stylists do blonde wrong before, always too gold or stripy, not the case with Ana it looks natural, healthy and pretty. I always feel great when I leave the salon because she gets my hair smoother than I ever could at home, even though I have gotten better at styling since she has taught me how to style it. I also see Erin for facials here and she is wonderful. She does eyebrow wax with a facial convenient; Erin is very good at clearing up my blemishes and removing dead skin. My skin looks much clearer and healthier. The staff is friendly and the salon is very comfortable with lots of natural light unlike most of the chain salons here. It’s in a lovely building with lots of free parking located in downtown Redmond, Ana is also a great decorator. I love this salon and so do the friends I have referred here. She has made some pretty drastic changes to a couple of my friends and they all look amazing. My Mom is even about to start coming here from Seattle because no one can get her hair right. Oh another plus for these ladies is the products they use and retail Aveda natural hair and skincare products. I love the smell and feel of these products. Give this place a try... more

NEVER, NEVER deal with ANA! 1/17/2011

I came to have my hair colored and she quoted me the price. I agreed to it and while the stylist was doing my hair, Ana came to me and told me that my quoted price is to increase by $20. I agreed to it anyway although I felt I had no choice since the work has already been started with my hair. When the coloring was done, my hair color turned out uneven from the top part with the bottom part. Since it was already evening, I was asked to come back another day to correct the unevenness. Naturally, I agreed again. I had no choice. Before I went out the salon, I asked about the price of hair gloss which was needed to be done after they correct my hair color when I come back. I was quoted a price of $40. When I came two days after to have my hair color corrected, Ana helped with the work. When it's time to pay, I was told to pay $100 plus. I was furious. I was charged for the additional color which was not my fault in the first place. I asked for a price that would cover everything but every time it's time to pay, Ana would just keep on adding charges! Never, never ever deal with Ana!!! more

Boojee girl 1/12/2011

I have 3a/3b curls, depending on the weather. I never thought my hair was all that difficult, it is curly - yes, but it is also pretty fine and not coarse or dry. Still, I had yet to find a stylist who could cut my hair the way I wanted and who understands that my hair grows very, very slowly. I always ask to keep the length, but cut lots of layers for shape and for fun. No one had ever come close until Ana. She was on the money. I waited an entire year before going back and still was receiving compliments on the shape of my hair. It grew out beautifully. Now I am going back for more in just a few days and can't wait! I highly recommend Ana, she takes time, listens and does what you ask! more
