Best Pizza In Portland 7/30/2008

I have only had great experiences at Portland Pie. My family and I have eaten at each one of the restaurants, and the food and service has always been outstanding. The restaurant at Cabela's in Scarborough was busy, but the service was great and the food was served quickly. Westbrook is a fun place in an up and coming town center, and the new restaurant on York Street in Portland is fun for me and my coworkers after work as well as with my family on a Saturday afternoon. Great Beers and Wine, and the Pizza is second to none. Pros: Food and Service Cons: I can't let my kids eat pizza every night. more

My family went to the one next to the new Cabella's. Service and food was horrible. The whole restraunt was waiting for their food for the longest time. Food was thrown together and sloppy. I ordered for my kids off the childrens menue. The fries were the same as the frozen cheap ones from Hannaford. I ordered a callzone which was half raw dough. We waited over an hour once our order was placed with our toddler. It was the experience from Hell. Over priced for the quality of the food. We were very dissapointed and would never go back. Revisionist Pizza 2/6/2003

The price is high (18-20$ for a large with a few toppings) but worth the investment. Portland Pie makes a unique pizza with combinations like barbeque chicken, smoked bacon and carmalized onions to name a few. What really makes a pizza good is the crust, and if you a like a tender chewy garlic or beer batter crust then order up from Portlands BEST PIZZA. Pros: Best Pizza in town Cons: Expensive more
