i've never had troubles with these guys! I have been using them for almost 10 years on 4 diferent cars including my older BMW. I was there yesterday again for brakes and the price was fair and they completed the job in 4 hours. They even let me speak with the gal mechanic Lyndsay who showed me the concerns. The online coupons are helpful and their club card gets you 5% back. Car repairs always suck but these guys have always treated me very well. more

NEVER GET YOUR CAR FIXED AT PEP BOYS!!!!!!!! they will tell you its one thing and not fix the real problem and take you for hundreds!!!! more

I have spent thousands getting my car repaired over the last two years. I went to pep boys in Aug of 09 because the car was dieing while I was driving and first I was told that it was the battery, had that changed, then I was told it was the alternator, had that done, then I was told it was the electrical in the steering column, had that done....so in feb of 10 I had had enough and I took it to the pepboys in corona the car still had the problem and then i was told it was three other things. had those fixed, still had problem continued. finally i was told it was the starter, they fixed that on their dime. While I had it there I also had them to look at the steering pump as it was squealing when I turned. I had no problems turning just the noise. They told me it was the power steering pump so I agreed to have it fixed.. they also suggested that I have the serpatine belt replaced since they would be working in that area that I wouldn't be charged additional labor they also said that I needed another part replaced (can't remember the name) and I did that as well. It cost me $700+ in addition to the $900+ I already had paid. A couple days later I returned because I was unable to steer the car at all. the replaced the pump after having the car for nearly 2 days. Since then they have replaced the pump 4x and the serpatine belt has fallen off while I am driving 9x. Every time I bring it back they give me a different reason for this happening and now they are saying that it is possibly something else..... lastly I still have a problem steering and they are now saying that it is my rack and pinion. I am very angry..... I am so tired of this. I have 6 kids and need my van. I have had a lot of medical issues and surgeries this year and need my car to get to doctor appointments. I have also been told that because there has been so much towing that my axel on my car is going out. I know I have an old car but this is ridiculous!!! I feel like I have been taken advantage of! Please help I need my car reliable again! Please never get your car repaired here! Oh and if you make them mad they will talk about what a BIT&& you are in the garage. more

I have taken my car there many of times and I have yet to have a problem with them. I usually drop my car off and the do an excellent job letting me know whats wrong... I never feel like im being oversold on service. They have done many nice things for me such as fix a flat tire and rotate my tires for free. NOT even wally world does that for free and the dealer charged my mom $45.00 to rotate her tires. CRAZY!!! more

Was unsure about a project I was working on and the service I recieved was very good. Received tips from employee that made my project alot easier, very knowledable staff. Surely my favorite auto parts store. more

I took my truck in to have the tires balanced and rotated and to have the engine checked for the rough idle. I returned 10 hours later and the wheels had not even been put back on the truck, they lost my paperwork (how do you do that?) and had not even begun to look at the engine. 10 hours. This is my second bad experience with them. Never going back there again. If there was a negative star rating they would get it. more

Corona Pep Boys store needs some help with customer service. They have a lame sense of urgency and do not care whether customers are happy or not, just that they can do what they want. My first two visits to this location was fine, but after I went there just two other times, the service went down hill fast. I did find that when John the manager was there service was up to par. If he was not there, they did whatever they wanted to do regardless of how many or how concerned the customers were to have help given to them in the form of getting their cars serviced.\r John should not have to be there for service to be great, it should be great all of the time, unless of course PepBoys has all of the money and customers they want at this time. If that is the case, that may be why they treat customers poorly when John is not there. more

Do Not Ever Go To The PepBoys Out In Corona. There Customer Services Is Really Bad. They Are Very Snobby ANd Can Give You An Attitude As Though You Are The One Who Did Something To Them...Go Somewhere Else more

I've been to Pep Boys and other similar suppliers/servicers before. I have never had such a rude person as I did when I went yesterday. He acted like it was my fault he was in a bad mood and tried to help, but it was the wrong thing (which I paid for, but remained hopeful and positive). When I set up an appointment to find out what the problem was, he neglected to inform me that I had to leave my car there for a few hours. So, when I showed up for my appointment, (besides having to wait ten minutes to speak to someone about it) he told me I had to leave the car as it would take a few hours. Needless to say I went elsewhere. I recommend pep boys, but definitely not this one. more

Pep Boys is just another version of Kragen Auto PArts or vice versa. These are the only stores I come to for automobile supplies because they sell their items at the cheapest prices. more
