Padonia Station

We tried the Padonia Station twice and have not been back. It was noisy and crowded and the food was just so-so, nothing out of the ordinary. The service was OK. It seems to be really hopping on weekend evenings so maybe it's popular with singles and teens. The location is certainly convenient and there is ample parking (though one of their slightly tipsy patrons rear-ended me as I was leaving the parking lot one evening so be careful). more

Padonia Station is most famous for it's Monday night wing night which I believe is 25 cents per wing. The wings are delicious, however I always go with a less messy selection, the Bacon Cheeseburger which comes with the best french fries or the Chesapeake wrap which is to die for! It's really fun to go to Padonia Station with a large group of people, they are used to accommodating such groups. Padonia Station has a bar and billiards for your wait to be seated. (Hint: get there a little earlier than you're planned meeting time with a large group to start a wait...it's not bad at all!) Padonia Station also offers carryout which I use frequently! more

I've gone to this place numerous times, so I'm glad I went recently enough that I can write about it. First of all, I would just like to say that on Fridays this place has a free buffet during their happy hour, so you should go get free food. Also, apparently this is a cool place to go to watch sports, but since I don't care about that and only care about food--onto the yummies! I would like to mention two delicious and original appetizers: the Seafood Nachos and the Seafood potato skins. I was definitely weary about getting the seafood nachos because it seemed like such an odd combo, but somehow it really works. Their wraps are also delicious including their chicken Chesapeake wrap which I get often. It is chicken with crab dip and the wrap is then covered in cheese. WOW. Their chicken salad is good also, a little sweet even which gives it an interesting taste. They do have specials on their wings which is good to check out. And people swear by their crab pretzel. This place has really great American food, check it out while watching your favorite game on tv! more
