I am a great fan of this movie theater and will often drive from Timonium to Columbia in order to see a movie I care about. What I really value is that the seating is spacious and comfortable. When people walk past you to get to the aisles, there is no need to stand up or smoosh your legs to the chair, they can freely walk past.
This place can get crowded over the weekends, but where is that not the case? What I really like is that they have late movies, which is a guarantee that middle schoolers will not be watching a movie with you and answering their cell phones and or flirting with the boys/girls behind them (yes, i've seen both things).

What I love about this theater is that it is very small and intimate. When you first arrive, you feel as if you are about to watch a play in someone' s row house. I saw the play Behind the Mirror at this theater, and it was definitely one that I appreciated it being such a small venue. We were able to chat with the actors after the show.
Also, the ushers and all the people that worked there were perfectly friendly, talked excitedly about their shows, and were eager to help when they could. Definitely a great place to see a play that you truly care about, and will overlook that the place is not as technologically advanced as others, or pristine.

I cannot express how satisfied I am with Image Is. My hairstylist is Shaheen who is absolutely superb at cutting my hair. Not only is she personable and friendly, but she knows exactly what looks good on you. Every haircut I've seen that she has done (I've recommended her to many of my friends) has always been excellent. Recently I went to her for a drastic cut---looooong hair to short! She did an excellent job, and I honestly think I look better now than with my signature long straight hair. A typical hair cut for women costs about $36, so not pricey at all.
The customer service by all the staff is exceptional, the place is clean, and they offer all the amenities of a great salon. It is definitely worth checking out.

This is the perfect type of restaurant for me. It is small, a non-chain, unassuming, and the food is delicious! I somewhat wish it was in a better location, but then I am selfish and am glad that it remains slightly hidden, adding to the appeal of the place as a great find. I tried one of their specials, cashew encrusted salon on top of a bed of spinach and wild rice with grilled squash and zucchini on the side. Perfection! The salmon was some of the best made fish I have ever had. First of all it was a good sized piece, and it was cooked fabulously, just the right amount. To use the clichรฉ, it melted in my mouth. The spinach was delicious because you could tell it has just been cooked right then using real spinach leaves rather than the frozen kind which makes for a very soggy and limp spinach. This spinach was still chewy, the way I know it's fresh. The grilled zucchini and squash was superb, and finished those off quickly. The wild rice was yummy, but I am more of a white rice woman so it's all the same to me. Dan got their chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were huge pieces and very succulent, and the fries were yummy. I also got a slice of their three layered chocolate mousse cake---YUM! (or Yum-O). Very rich, very satisfying. I am so happy with this place. What's also great is that connected to the restaurant they have a gift shop with some really unique gifts you can purchase while waiting for your meal. The service is somewhat slow, so go when you are in the mood to take your time and lounge around.

For being a pricey salon, I was very disappointed with the way my french manicure turned out. I felt like the nail technician didn't truly care about me as a customer, and just went through the motions of doing a manicure without paying close attention. My nails were all different lengths, different shapes, and I asked for a nice top color and she basically put a nude on it. I did not appreciate the lack of friendliness, I would have expected more from a place that charges approx $22 for a French Manicure

I come here all the time, so you should be angry at me that I haven't reviewed it until now. This place is a GREAT diner. All typical diner food is great here. I haven't tried any of their specialty meals etc, but I love to get good old burgers and fries, chicken tenders, potato skins, and delicious breakfast foods. I ordered two eggs and sausage which comes with two slices of toast and hash browns. Can't go wrong with that! Their dessert case is always so tempting when you first walk in, but by the end of your meal you are so stuffed you can't think of ordering anything else. I have tried their blueberry muffin though, and they are quite delicious. I also like the way they toast it for you before bringing it out, now that shows care.

Yet another Sports Bar, although I think this could be a really fun time for people if they were interested in Sunday or Monday Night Football because there are TV's everywhere, and a huge screen TV in the middle of the restaurant. Glory Days is known for its typical bar food, and I really like their burgers. I chose a regular burger with Swiss cheese, mushroom and onions. It was HUGE, honestly I could only eat half of it. I ordered red skinned potatoes, but my server brought out fries instead by mistake, which I ended up being glad about because they were really great, and the red skinned potatoes were nothing special. I have a feeling this place could be really crowded on the big sports nights though, so beware. On Mondays their special is $5.00 for all you can eat burgers and all you can drink beer.

Ahahahahah Ok I am done. But in all honesty. The bar has been raised. This is by far the fanciest chocolate I have ever eaten, and I am not being facetious when I say I can picture the Mayans nodding approvingly. The lovely owner makes all the chocolates himself and is very friendly and open about what he does. The only drawback is that he doesn't sell individual chocolates so you must buy them in a box. BUT YOU WILL LOVE THEM SO IT DOESN'T MATTER.
There is no need to sample here, this guy knows what he is doing. He also makes a different special everyday. On my birthday he made something called Frutti Fresco (or something like that) which was a small sliver of dark chocolate topped with some kind of milk chocolate paste, probably gananche, and then topped with two different berries. INCREDIBLE. I took the first bite and felt like I was transported to heavenly chocolate land where everything is good and delicious. I would also like to mention that normally I don't like dark chocolate, but I loved his. His regular box of chocolates has really unusual flavors that seem to work so wonderfully together. One of the chocolates is called India which is made with a spice that we actually use in Indian cooking---and it's yummy! Another is made with infused lavender and another is made with port soaked figs. Who is this guy? I think I need to be best friends with him because he amazes me.

This place makes reallly great truffles, and they are also a little cheaper than Glarus. I can't really compare Kirchmayr and Glarus though. I think both are equally delicious. Most of Kirchmayrs truffles are made with alcohol (actually, if I am not mistaken ALL of them are), so that might be a problem for some. The flavors are Champagne, Pear William, Raspberry, Irish Coffee, Amaretto, and Cointreau. Don't ask me to pick out my favorites because that is not happening. They are all equally delicious and sinful. They also sell chocolate covered strawberries during the summer, but I haven't tried any :( Of course they sell regular chocolates too, but I usually just get their truffles because I like them better. Go there and check this place out, they always have a little plate of samples on the counter :)

A cool tidbit about this tiny little chocolatier is that it is owned by a husband and wife team, with no additional workers. And on top of that, they just got married in June and had spent approximately a year starting this business and planning their wedding. Needless to say their wedding was filled with chocolate galore from chocolate fondue to chocolate wedding favors to chocolate martinis. so how are the chocolates? Well it's important to note that all their goodies are made from natural ingredients and therefore we also must realize that one truffle is not going to cost the same as 1 piece of chocolate you would get at Rite Aid. In fact, they are at a hefty price of two truffles from $3, though you may get 50 cents off if you just prefer them in a bag rather than a box. Heck you can just empty those right into my mouth, because that's exactly where they will be 2 minutes after I am handed that bag. but anyway, of course their truffles are delicious.
Their hazelnut and almond truffles are really smooth and creamy on the inside with some crunch on the outside. Their chocolates were good too, but I don't remember their names because I was so focused on the truffles. What I loved was the lavender truffle which was infused with lavender while being made, and it's quite a sensation eating something that has only been known by your sense of smell. I would highly recommend trying that truffle. They are also great because they let you sample their truffles, knowing that they are expensive and that everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I would recommend going to this place to get a little box for someone's birthday, an anniversary, Valentine's Day etc. Or how about a 'just because' day--they're the best!
