I've been going to naba for about 5 years now to get my hair done. I find the employees and prices awesome! Unfortunilty, i have long hair so when i get color its more money than i hoped it would be. The girls that work there are very sweet though. I've never had any problems so i plan on going back soon for my regular appointment! more

Never Again!!! 4/28/2011

I have been a customer for years at the Concord location and have never had a problem until my last visit. I found the director and a student (M. S.) to be very rude and unprofessional at my last visit. \r I haven't complained in the past when my hair was cut unevenly or a student took off for the bathroom for 20 minutes to make a call.\r For the most part, the instructors and students that I have met over the years have been very curtious. The prices are reasonable. more

well, i went to naba and i am certainly not ghetto, nor do i know any people there who will go steal someone's wallet out of their purse, so, just because you didn't have a good experience doesn't mean that everyone in the school is ghetto and a thief. that's a rude assumption, and they probably wouldn't you back there anyway. more

I went to this school and it was a blast every one makes sure that not only are you learning but that you are having fun while doing so.\r The instructors are the best i went through some really hard times while i was there and they all asked me if i was ok every single day it ment alot to me, these people will not only help your life but toutch your heart as well so thank you naba i love you all!!!!! susan patzius more

First of all.... NABA- Concord is NOT GHETTO...We students have a alot of fun with each other, our clients and our educators.. People, just because one person had a bad experience at our school, dont mean the rest of our clients did. If you are looking to be a cosmetologist.. I urge you to come check our school out. If you want to get your hair done the same way you would at any salon with salon products but at crazy low prices and a great fun time.. come check us out more

WATCH YOUR BELONGINGS HERE 4/23/2010

I can not say what type of education you get here but what I can tell you is if you go here to get your hair done WATCH OUT!!! The people that work here are thiefs. Keep all of your belongings on your lap at all times otherwise you will not have them when you leave. They will steal everything right out from under your nose. My advice is to stay away and find somewhere to get your hair done. My daughter got a bad feeling just walking in and meeting the employees and the managers. They all seem like they came from the ghetto!!!! I suppose thats why her wallet was gone when she went to pay. We see what the police have to say tomorrow.? more

National Academy of Beauty Arts now takes credit and debit. We do excellent colors, cuts, perms, manicures, pedicures. We do updo's for weddings, homecoming, graduation dances. more

Impressive! 8/22/2008

I have never gone to a Beauty School for services, but was told by a friend that it was a great deal and a great service. I've been back 3 times and very happy with my cuts, color, waxings and pedicures. The school is run very professionally and the instructors are available to supervise the service. The sylists have been very sure to provide the coloring and cuts desired. more

Great prices and services 11/11/2006

I went to the beauty college because I am a college student my self and do not have a whole lot of money to spend on hair coloring. But when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a cheerful hello. I was getting a pretty extensive hair color so I asked for a Senior student, you have to go early in the day for this, it was acctually her last day of school she was graduating the next day. I got the best hair color ever she told me that what I wanted would be to drastic so she suggested that I get lots of highlights and then slowly go in to the color that I wanted to end up with. I love my hair and would suggest this to anyone that has only a little cash for their hair. PROS: Cheap and friendly CONS: CASH OR CHECK ONLY more

good place for cheap but good quality beauty services 9/11/2005

This is a school where they practice on people, so essentially if you go here you are the guinea pig. However, usually they do a great job, and you get the service for a cheaper price than you would at a full service salon with someone who has a license. It's located with lots of parking, but come with cash or a check, as they will not do credit or debit cards and you don't want to be stuck having to run to the nearest ATM machine. Overall I would recommend for haircuts and minor beauty services like manicures and pedicures. Not sure if I would do color treatments. more

I went here for my schoolign and they did a fantastic job. They get you totally ready for yoru state board and you work on peoleo all day long. People actulaly soem to this school and pay next to nothgin for perms colors and cuts it is a great school I highly receommend PROS: fantastic school CONS: none more

National Academy Beauty Arts is a great place to go and I know many people that are so pleased with their work each time they go. The atmosphere here is very relaxing and the staff is very sweet and kind to you, it makes you feel really good to be there. It also makes you want to come back. You can get a hair cut, your nails done, eyebrows waxed, style, and color here all at once. They are convienently located with lots of parking and their prices are very reasonable for amount of services they provide. more

Enjoyed my visit 6/4/2005

I like this place, its kind of wierd going down these steps and thru this door to get to it in this plaza but the prices are good and I got the style I wanted. The stylist was really nice and made sure I got what I wanted before I left. They only take checks and cash. Are there late during the week but I think not so late on the weekend. more

I love this place, get everything done and sooo cheaply too 6/4/2005

I took my daughters here to get hair cuts before picture day. I got an eyebrow wax as well. They did a fablous job. I would recommend them for anyone to go here. The instructors check over everything to make sure you are go to go before you leave, however they train them well and you will be looking fablous before you head out the door. They do manicures and pedicures as well. They also do hair color and hightllighting too. Will not do chemcials on a child under 16 I believe it is and they are closed on mondays. The only other problem I have is they don't do credit or debit, cash or check only PROS: CONS: Cash or check only and closed on mondays more
