i saw this national award and about crapped out the crappy burgers that i ate at miller's bar. a friend had recommended this ""bar"" to me and promised satisfaction. the burgers...

The service is fast and friendly. The burgers are juicy and always cooked just right. Try the fries or onion rings with an icy cold draft beer. It's a great place to meet friends and tip a few on Fridays! Pros: On the way home, Inexpensive, Service Cons: No salads more

It's Miller Time 8/8/2002

Juicey burgers served the way they're intended. No frilly condiments - just the necessities! You don't get a plate or a bill in this place - we work on the honor system here! If you aren't looking for a burger, go elsewhere - there isn't much else to choose from on the menu beyond the bar. Cons: no a/c! more

The BEST hamburger in Detroit! Pleasant, courteous waitstaff. My husband and I had our first date at Miller's Bar. We've been married for four wonderful years. :) more

BURGER LOVERS TURN BACK!!! 8/2/2002

I took the editorial recommendation and went to Millers. Sadly, I was very disappointed. I don't get the hype. The burger was an average burger delivered on wax paper and tossed at me by a waitress that made me feel like I was wasting her time. No lettuce, tomato, onion just plenty of grease. Sorry, I really wanted to like it, honest. Pros: Its close Cons: Below Average Burger, Terrible Service, No Lettuce & Tomato? more

Miller Time 8/2/2002

Miller's is a friendly neighborhood bar which serves the BEST hamburgers in the state of Michigan! If you get to Millers after 5pm especially on Friday's be prepared to wait in line!!!! You have your choice between a hamburger or a cheeseburger and fries or onion rings ... that's it!! The most interesting thing at Miller's is that they trust you ... you do not get a bill ... you just tell the bartender what you had and he rings it up!! To this day I don't know how they can do that!! more

THIS HAS BEEN A CLASSIC BEER AND SHOT FAVORITE FOR YEARS. THE BERGERS ARE GOOD WHILE THE CHILI IS GREAT! THIS IS A PLACE FOR PEOPLE TO MEET FOR ANY OCCASION EXCEPT FINE DINING. BRAVO!! more

No frills but a great burger! 8/1/2002

I've been going to this bar for their burgers since 1980. I've never had a drink there but there's nothing like their burgers. They're big, they're juicy and they're cooked just right. It makes me hungry for one right now! more
