Just so-so 7/21/2005

Well when the waitress's finished arguing over who was going to wait on our group, the lucky winner had an attitude towards ""the group"" service was poor and the food was so-so to say the least. I was not impressed at all! Cons: limited parking, can not handle groups, just a typical bar more

This bar only has hambirgers on the menu and wow are they good. This makes it easy to go to because then you don't have to decide on what to get and they still use the honor system to pay. I love this place!!!!!!!!! more

my mom has been going to millers since she was an infant, I have been going to millers since I was an infant, and to continue the tradition I will take my kids there. they have without a doubt the best burger ever. Pros: Great burger, great staff, great bar more

Miller's Bar has the Best Burgers ever!! I have been coming to this place since I was born (my parents took me in my carrier). It's a ""bar"" but still a welcome environment for kids. You will never find another burger like this one. My family has been bringing people here for decades and no one can say that they have had a better burger somewhere else. Rock on Miller's!! THis is seriously the BEST BURGER EVER. Started going to Millers about a year ago. The burgers are so good I am lucky if I don't go at least once a week. I live out in Troy and will drive the 40+ minutes just for one burger. They melt in your mouth... more

Looking at it plain and simple for what it is, there is no better burger in the metro Detroit area or maybe even the country! For one reviewer to say that Burger King has better burgers is simply rediculous. They are not even in the same league! Miller's may be too plain and simple for some, but the quality of their Burgers is second to none! more

Best Burger in Town 4/8/2004

When you got to Miller's, don't bother asking for a menu. They only have burgers and fries, but they are the best burgers in metro Detroit. The atmosphere is typical of a bar that's been around for a while. It's not fancy and it's definitely not trendy, but it's a great place to get a burger and a beer. Hands down this is the best cheeseburger you will ever eat in your life. The taste is something that cannot be duplicated. The french fries are awesome. I grew up going to Miller's on saturday nights so maybe i am a bit biased. BTW they are closed on sunday's i believe. 10 out of 10 from me. more

We love this place and whenever we get anywhere near the West side we pop in. The burgers are tasty. I think many Yuppie-types get turned off by the dark ""beer joint"" atmosphere. I guess seeing is believing. Miller's sure does serve up exactly what they are famous for, burgers. Nothing else, just the burger. Went for lunch and had great service. I thought the burger was good, but the whole package was great. Two Burgers, Two Fries, Two Sodas, and Tip for all under 20 bucks. Can't beat that! Delicious Burgers, Friendly Staff 10/26/2003

Millers Bar was introduced to me in the late 1970's and I return whenever I am in town. The burgers remain delicious and the familiar staff are friendly and efficient. I never been to another restaurant where the honor system of paying by telling the bartender what and how many you had is used and this helps make the experience unique. This place does not fix what isn't broken and I have told many of my friends about it, even though it's 125 miles away. Pros: As my review says more

Great Burgers & Cold Beer! 10/8/2003

If you are in the mood for a great greasy cheese burger, this is the place! However, don't go expecting valets, and servers in tuxedos, this is a no-frills ""neighborhood"" bar! There are no menus, you have 4 choices, hamberger, cheeseburger, fries and onion rings! Everyting is great! Very inexpensive! When you are done, no need to wait for the server to bring your bill, just go to the bar and tell them what you had! One tip, GO EARLY!! This place fills up at 5pm, doesn't matter the day of the week! Very popular spot! Pros: Inexpensive, Great Food, Cold Beer Cons: Road Construction, Building is small, Small Parking Lot more

Not bad... BUT 10/7/2003

Let me summarize... Usually difficult to find a parking spot, wait in line for 20 minutes, sit in a really uncomfortable booth or worse yet little table, then end up with a rude and surly waitress with a ton of attitude, only to get a burger tossed at you on waxed paper. Good luck trying to get her back to your table for some ketchup (you want WHAT?) once you've got your food. Sure the burgers are good, but not good enough to put up with all that nonsense.
