They have fairly competitive prices, but the specialize in cameras and everything camera, so they can help you really choose the best camera for what you need in your price range. I know of no other store like this. If you want to get a great camera for any price range, thay will help you get the best for what you have, for what you need it for.

They have as much stuff in stock as a huge national chain...but they aren't! They are a small business, but carry as much of a selection of dog / cat / fish / gerbil / bird / ferret / etc food as any huge warehouse national chain. They also have toys, shampoos, flea control, live fish, litter, clothes, postcards, treats, and much much more. They are neat and clean, with average prices, but beware...the manager is VERY rude. Gets upset when you use coupons, even though THEY put them out once a month, and of course accept manufacturers coupons....she just seems mad about it.

I didnt like this store that much. The inside is packed with books and I mean packed not alot of room to move around. The prices are good but you can smell the dust in the air from the books, I guess. Its not dirty dirty but it could use a new cleaning thats for sure. The trade in vaule is not bad for being a used book store. If you read you should check them out they have kids books, adult reading books etc. .

I stumbled across this store when I first moved to detroit four years ago. I still go there at least once a week to check out new books. I've yet to find a used book place that tops it. Aside from the great staff, the prices and selection are truly impressive. If I'm looking for something and they don't have it one week, chances are they will within the next month.

I have had to go to Oakwood Hospital for testing on several occasions and it seems that they always forget that I am there. One time I waited 3 hours because they forgot I was there for an MRI. I try to attend other places for any medical testing I need for this reason.

They specialize in old glassware and figurines, all types of jewelry, paintings, rugs, China, pottery, old musical instruments, toys, watches, old (very old) furniture, OLD clothing, silver flatware, French doors, and more. If it is old, they will buy it! If you are looking to decorate with the antique mood, this is THE place to go! They have it all! You could decorate your entire house from this one store, all in antique stuff. It is clean, but a little crowded. That's only because they have SO much good stuff to buy! Parking is adequate, and they are very nice inside.

This store has most everything, offered by a variety of dealers. A stunning collection of vintage jewelry, quite reasonably priced, vintage clothing, local interest memorabilia, general antiques and an eclectic range of other vintage and antique wares, along with an astoundingly knowledgeable staff. The owner and dealers are all very pleasant to deal with, the store is well kept and tidy unlike many other shops, a very pleasant atmosphere.

The selection at JC Penney is always great, first off.
I was shopping for a work shirt in the women's department one evening. I looked in the clearance area, but it was pretty hard! I found it pretty difficult because a lot of the outfits were strewn around on different racks. In order to get to the nicely arranged items to scavenge out the right sizes, I had to go see the pricier shirts.
It was 20 minutes to close, and they had just announced it about 10 minutes ago. Knowing they close the dressing rooms a quarter to, I walked in to take advantage of my last 5 minutes. The woman attending the room apparently had left her place. She came back not one minute into my changing and yelled loudly, "uh, ma'am!" I didn't realize she was even talking to me because her tone was extremely rude and condescending. She was very annoyed with me and told me I needed to leave immediately because they were closing. I was going to ask her for the 5 extra minutes, but decided against it because she had her hands outstretched in case I didn't want those clothes. I just said "okay" and went to the next nearest fitting room. That next woman had no problem with me entering and even asked if I needed any help. Obviously they have some employees there that are not particularly fond of their jobs.

Rainbow seems to either be up on the trends or create them. They have really cute clothes for juniors and nice evening clothes. Their prices are unbeatable compared to other apparrel stores. I even found a beautiful, smooth red cocktail dress for -- get this -- $11. My friends couldn't believe it. Most times, visiting certain stores in the mall you'd pay $15-20 for a plain t-shirt. At Rainbow, they can even be as low as $3 and they're great quality too. Some of the shirts have a tendency to be fragile seam-wise in the washer, so be careful. But most people tend to change their wardrobe around the same time this would happen anyway. I love this place for back-to-school shopping and when you need a great pick-me-up outfit for a fun night.

This is your typical corner pharmacy/store with your friendly neighborhood pharmacist. The location is near a dance studio and a few pediatric clinics in almost at the heart of downtown West Dearborn. It's nice to be able to get a prescription filled by walking down the block a few steps after leaving the doctor! For the little ones they offer a wide variety of candy, including the nostalgic penny candies. And if junior is a little cranky after those booster shots you needn't worry.....it's in and out at Monroe Pharmacy.
