Nathaniel Slyngstad is the frame shop manager at the Michael's Arts & Crafts on Tully Rd. in San Jose. He does great work and considering how costly custom framing can be, it's a good thing. He does exceptional work. I've had all of my valuable art framed by him. Go and check him out. He is great at what he does. Pros: Personalized customer service. You feel valued at this frame shop. Cons: Parking is a zoo during the weekend. more

Everything arts and crafts 7/31/2005

This store has every art and craft item you'd possibly need! it is easy to find what you are looking for because each row of the store has a different theme. they sell cake icing, decorations, paint, fake flowers, candles, color paper, yarn, needles, frames, and tons more! they also have an art and crafts day where they show you how to make things. they have low low prices and their employees are helpful in helping you find exactly what you need. more

Michaels Arts & Crafts 7/30/2005

The Michaels on Tully Rd is a bit smaller than the other Michaels that I have been to. This Michaels has a large selection of items that are useful. This store is pretty clean and a bit disorganized. It is kind of hard to find the things that you need, and they are understaffed so it can take a long time to find what you need without someone helping you. Their prices are cheap, and most of the time they have coupons, I recommend going here. more

Playground 7/30/2005

This store has a good inventory it's just all over the place. It looks like a pig pen. Every time i go there i feel like i am in toys r us. Not to mentioned that they always seem under staffed. If you don't mind digging throught the rubble it's fine. Come to think about it i only go there because there are not too many arts and craft stores in the area PROS: CONS: Under staffed, messy more

Good selection 7/15/2005

Good selection of everything you need for arts and crafts. However, the beads here are more expensive than small bead stores. Wait for the sunday paper to get the 40% coupon off most items. more
