The previous owner of McCulley Brothers was a friend of mine. They have kept the same employee's and the service has been good. The new owner has been just as good. I have been using them for about five years now. The overall customer service is great. more

Really poor communication. 1/20/2012

I recently had my RV brought in for a lot of much needed work. I chose McCulley's because I had a car serviced by this shop successfully a couple years prior. In this most recent visit there had been much frustration with lines of communication. They had sent my carburetor to another shop for rebuild without any consent from me. There was no opportunity to research the carburetor repair shop for past reviews. It turns out, after a second opinion by another shop, that the tubes that connect to the carburetor were all incorrectly re-installed. Several times throughout the duration of service with McCulley's I was unable to get call backs from the shop manager. I literally had to call the shop everyday for an update. The last request I had was to get information on a replacement transmission and I never got a call back. I actually like the people in the shop and find them very personable, just disappointed in the lack of communication. more

Lack of communication 1/18/2012

Back in November, it was right around Thanksgiving. I had an RV towed to their location and I was told that they could actually work on it. The McCulley Brothers estimated at that time and that was fine. I asked if it could be ready for Thanksgiving and I was told yes. I waited a few days and then I called to get in an update. The mechanic at the McCulley Brothers told me they would call me back and that never happened until I called again. I rarely got a call back. I was told that the RV would be ready but I would never get a call to confirm that it would be ready. There was really poor communication between me and the shop. On top of that, my carburetor was sent to another shop and I wasn't told until it was sent to that shop. It was fine because they were specialized, but the lack of communication was enough to put a bad taste in my mouth. The job that they had done on the carburetor was done poorly. They basically didn't know what they were doing. more

We have been completely satisfied for several years 1/4/2012

McCulley Brothers is terrific. I take three vehicles there and have for years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. We continue to go to them because they never try to sell us something that we don't need. Everyone there is very nice and the prices are more than fair. more

I have been going to McCulley Brothers for the last three years. I used to live in Sacramento and now live in Roseville. Now, once a month, I drive 30 miles just to get an oil change from them. They are great people. They do all types of repairs for my wife and I. I would recommend them to anybody and I recommend them to my family. It is like a family run business and they welcome me every time I go in for service. They also have a guy who works on Audi cars. more

McCulley Brothers is always very friendly. Even when they are busy, they always make a moment to hear what help I need. They have given me rides to and from work, and they have even delivered my car to me when I've been busy. They are good people, and they do good work. more

The best full service auto shop in town. 8/22/2011

Honestly, McCulley Brothers is the best auto shop I have dealt with. I never have anything but good things to say about them. I've been using them for about two years--since I moved to town--and I've never received anything but great service. Every time I come to McCulley Brothers with an issue, they deal with it immediately. They are always straightforward, and I feel like I'm getting their full attention. When I go in, I'm the priority. They offer great service, all around. You won't find a better auto shop in Sacramento. more

My whole family goes to McCulley Brothers. We stopped going there for a little bit, because we thought they had changed out the whole crew. But I went in and had a long talk with Jesse. I found out that they hadn't changed the crew, and it was the same one I'd been using so we went back. We've been happy. Jesse knows what he's doing, he makes the deals. I think it comes down to honesty. We depend on that. more

Really great service! 8/10/2011

I took my car to McCulley Brothers to get a second opinion after visiting the dealership. I had some questions and McCulley Brothers was just so helpful and knowledgeable and assisted me with what had been discussed at the dealership. When it came to their estimate, there was a significant drop in price when compared to the dealer. Naturally, I let McCulley fix it and there have been no problems whatsoever. I really appreciate that they take time to talk to their customers. I've taken my car there about four times, and will continue to do so in the future. more

Accommodating, helpful, friendly, and fast. 7/6/2011

I had a vehicle that needed a diagnostic test and had a couple of other issues as well. I went in to McCulley Brothers and had it tested. They researched the fact that the battery light would come on, and we needed to find out whether it was the alternator or the battery. They also looked for another noise in the engine. They were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. It was my first time using them, and though they couldn't find the problem, they did what they could with what they had. Maybe it is an electrical problem. They were speedy, accommodating, friendly, and I would recommend them to anybody. more

Outstanding service, friendly staff and great value. 7/5/2011

McCulley Brothers is located across the street from where I work, and I first started using them a few years ago, at the recommendation of a colleague. They do good work at a fair price. I'm happy with everything they have take care of for me. McCulley Brothers service my family's four vehicles--mine, my wife's, and our two daughters'. I have never had a problem with any of the work. It's always right on. The staff is also very friendly, and they have my cars in and out in the same day. I have passed on the good recommendation to others in my office, and now several of us go there for service. more

I've been going to the McCulley Brothers for five years now. I've taken three vehicles to their shop and have had great experiences for all three in terms of pricing. One time I took my girlfriend's car to a major, well known competitor to work on something that was easily fixed. They gave a huge estimate so I ended up not doing the work there! I then went to the McCulley Brothers and they did the job, which was to re-balance the tire, free of charge. What they did stood out to me. They were attentive and timely. I knew the McCulley brothers personally before they sold their business but I continue to go there. What I've said took place after they sold the business. Excellent and quick work. 6/13/2011

McCulley Brothers are professional and friendly. At this point, I've used them for an alternator, brakes, wheels, and most recently to flush my transmission. I first encountered them when I used their sister company for a tow. The tow truck driver recommended McCulley Brothers, and the rest is history. They work hard to provide a flexible work environment, one that can get the work done to fit your schedule. They are offer fair prices, great service, and get the job done fast. Every time I've used McCulley Brothers, everything has been ready the same day. I will, of course, use them again. more

Quick, good quality work. 4/27/2011

We had our brakes fixed last week by McCulley Brothers, and we have had an oil change there as well. They are always really good about turning the cars out quickly, and they do quality work. They are also really helpful. I live close and have two kids to juggle. They have dropped me off at my house and dropped off the car one time too. They are very helpful in terms of their customer service. I have been using them for the last 4 months. It is really nice that sometimes I can just drop my car off overnight and have it fixed quickly in the morning. You can't do that at every place, so it is a really nice feature that they have. S. I take my car to McCulley Brothers for regular maintenance. They are always willing to accommodate me, which is great because I'm a very busy person. I can usually drop off my car, and they find a way to get it done. They have great customer service, and I have referred them to my friends because of it. They also ask reasonable prices compared to taking my vehicle to the dealer. They are my choice when it comes to my automobile needs. more
