Mary Jo's Cloth Store is a fabulous store in which to purchase fabrics, patterns, and hundreds of other craft and sewing supplies! The selection available of fabrics is wonderful! I could spend an entire day shopping in this store. The help of the ladies in the stores is hard to find elsewhere and the quality of the fabrics sold is always high. The wide variety of fabrics is also something that I like a lot. The store is laid out nicely and everything has it's own place. Everything is easily accessible and the store is quite orderly. Mary Jo's First rule is to stop at the desk before going in and get your little white paper. (Without it, you will miss all the fun.) You need the paper from the front desk to give to the girls cutting fabric. If you want to pick up yarn, ribbons, antique buttons or old lace, then you have struck gold. Wide Variety of fabrics, designer , quilting ,silks, wools, cottons and velvets. They have racks of books and patterns on various needle arts, lots of thread and ribbon for embroidery. Bridal and special occasion materials, including veiling, appliqués, and other accessories. They have high end quilting fabric, including wools and flannels . They also carry solids. If you have children or grand children they carry a great selection of all the caricatures the kids love , both girls and Pokemon boys! From upholstery to silk, from burlap to an extensive bridal department, Mary Jo's has it all! Prices are very reasonable and you can often find some really great specials. A vast array of sewing accessories can also be found. There's always a staff member nearby to answer any question or to cut your fabric. There's even a little "lounge" to browse pattern books! Mary Jo's has every cloth imaginable. It's a huge (and I do mean huge) store of cloth, patterns, and other accessories. They carry cloth for drapes, weddings, silks and other high fashion material. And you can't beat the prices and the staff is great! I remember going there as a kid with my Godmother (who is a seamstress) and being amazed by the amount of cloth they have. If you need it they probably have it or can get it for you. It's definitely worth the trip into to see. more
