The owner doesn't know the meaning of the phrase ""customer service""! When my very simple ring sizing and appraisal took longer than expected, the owner condescendingly apologized that I got frustrated (not that she messed up.) Then when I was called and told that my custom necklace (very simple diamond pendant) was ready for pick up -- 4 weeks after it was ordered -- I drove out of my way to pick it up only to find out that it was not done right, even though the order was very clearly written. Rather than an apology for their negligence and my inconvenience, all I got from the owner was, ""Well we can send it to you."" The Joint Venture concept is a great way to sell your unwanted jewelry - the store will get the best price possible for you. I've sold many items there, and have been very pleased with the results. Only problem is I have a hard time leaving the store without spending money, because there are always so many fascinating items available. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The staff at Joint Venture helped me with my needs, and even though I didn't buy what I was looking at, I don't think that I could have saved nearly as much anywhere else.
