This bookshop caters solely to an audience that demands its printed material to be hard-boiled and pulpy to the maximum. This bookstore has one of the best collections in the city. It offers seedy literature that makes me horny. My only problem with the book store is I always end up browsing the crime isle and I never feel morally ok buying books from that isle... that is why I always bring a bag. more

Located in the jewish enclave in Brookline, this store has anything you, or other jewish friends could ever need. While their selection of books is immense, I love the more fun items that can often be found in the store like Hebrew red sox caps and videos for children based on the teachings of the torah. If you're looking for hannukah presents this shop is well worth a trip. more

All of your Jewish Needs 8/15/2005

This store in Brookline offers all sorts of religious items including books, talisis, tefilin, kippas, etc. The prices are high but you get what you pay for. Although their items are almost all relating to the Jewish religion, its still an interesting thing to experience for anyone in the Brookline area. more

Israel Book Shop has a huge quantity of books on Judaica...probably the largest in Boston! Located on Harvard St (near the wonderful Rueben's Deli), Israel Books is a friendly place with a very knowledgable staff that will invite you to sit down and stay awhile, and they are always happy to engage in conversation about a book or any questions you may have. Cool place for sure! more
