The Iron Horse, chef, Jackson Rouse, has hit a home run. His food philosphy is ""From the Garden to the Table"". He makes everything from scratch down to his homemade ketchup. I started my meal with an amazing house salad that had goat cheese, smoked almonds, golden raisins,cucumbers and a tomato basil vinaigrette. I had the Signature, an amazing filet served with bleu cheese creamed spinach and grilled red skin potatos. The filet was topped with truffled mushrooms and I must say this is the best filet that I have had in the city. I finished my dinner with an amazing dessert called the Bittersweet Chocolate Tart. This tart had a chocolate crust, homemade carmel, chocolate ganash and was served with a mini vanilla milk shake. I had a wonderful experience and so did my guests. I highly recommend the Iron Horse.
