Not nice white young waitress. She not want to write down my order. Told her I am a customer. She said she would in a rude way. She brought me my bill. Then she ran away and not come back. She rude to female customers and nice to male customers. more

Ham's 4/3/2006

Ham's is the ideal place to go for the big game night. Large and spacious, this sports bar/restaurant can hold quite a few people. One of the biggest downfalls, however, is their lack of good vegetarian options. But, they do have great freshly fried chips and their cheesy nachos are awesome. more

Ham's 4/2/2006

This sport's bar is a fun place to go for all of the college games. Their beer specials are good and their chips are their specialty. On Thursdays you can get a cheeseburger and a side for $2.50 when you buy a drink. It can get pretty busy on Thursday nights, so it is best to go for lunch. Unfortunately it has very few vegetarian options. more

Gotta love the chips! 2/10/2006

Ham's is a local favorite in the Chapel Hill area. It's got a great college atmosphere and it's a great place to hang out and watch the big game with its multiple TVs. While Ham's offers a sizable menu, I recommend ordering one of it's sandwiches (I love their Roast Beast and Ham's Original). The best thing about Ham's, however, is their famous homemade potato chips. Fried up and served with ranch dressing, these chips are to die for - I order them everytime that I go. You can order them as a side item with your sandwiches or you can order them as an appetizer (which is quite large) more

Game Day Haven! 8/23/2005

This is a great spot to gather with your friends to watch an away UNC football game or to watch another game while waiting for your home game to start. Great service, and enough greasy options on the menu for anyone!! Lots of TV's and sports memorabilia- great downtown Chapel Hill location. more

excellent sports bar 8/18/2005

in my opinion one of the best sports bars on franklin street. many options for food, and everything i've had there has been great. food is not very expensive, and even at busy times the service is rather good. even if you're a duke fan, ham's is a place you should visit. more

Bar and Burgers, What More Could You Want?! 6/21/2005

Right on the West side of Franklin St., Ham's is a great spot for singles, guys nights out, or the fun, sporty ambience of Chapel Hill. Ham's has a great casual menu, with a solid bar, in a fun, sports-esque setting. Don't expect beauty or to impress a date, but expect a great time! more
