Great used book store! 4/10/2006

If you don't want to make the trek to the Wheaton Library for their used book sale, this is definitely a great second choice. They have a pretty good selection of books that are well-organized by type. They also accept donations of books that are in good condition. I both donate and purchase books here and the staff is super warm and friendly. A very nice used book shopping experience in Rockville! more

Great used, not for profit book store 8/1/2005

The Friends Store is a great used book store, where all titles are relatively inexpensive. Also, the funds it receives go to benefit Montgomery County libraries. The book store is located behind Whiteflint Mall off of Nicholson lane and Parklawn lanes. The bookstore has hours of operation from Monday through Thursday from 10 am - 8; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. And, Sunday's the book store is open from noon - 6 pm Sunday The book store has a large selection of used books (around 50,000 titles). The people working there are great, they are very nice and helpful. more
