G Street is a fabric lover's dream. They stock all kinds of fabrics that are impossible to find anywhere else plus an excellent selection of more commonly found fabrics. Like Malden Mills Polar Fleece---they stock the different weights and they have what seems like a million colors and prints.
They also stock high end wools, silks, linens, and imported Swiss and Italian cottons. The notions department has a lot of specialty items like velcro in non-standard colors, unusual fasteners, etc. They are also an authorized Bernina dealer with a big stock of parts and accessories.

This place is wonderful. They have every fabric you can imagine. We buy from them all the time. However, unless you get it on sale, they will be cost a lot. A nice cotton print can cost 9 dollars a yard.

Second Hand Rose is like an indoor yardsale. Somewhat organized-but the odor is not good, it tends to be cold during the cooler months, very dusty and dirty. Many of the items have been there for many months, they seem to take a lot of junk. Prices don't make it worth the effort. Parking is great-but finding worthwhile value is very hit or miss.

After visiting several tile stores in NOVA, Home Depot and Lowe's we decided to trek up to Rockville to try out the Tile Shop. A few friends had recommended the store to us so we gave it a shot.
We were very pleased with the stores incredible selection and reasonable prices. It was definitely worth a visit!

I have had the pleasure of working with this company for commercial as well as residential spaces. Every employee I have dealt with has been courteous and knowledgeable. There is always a fair and "understandable" estimate as well as bill provided. Their scheduled maintenance is reliable and efficient. Trouble calls are handled very quickly. I highly recommend this company for their skill and pricing.

Nice size store with lots of Amish furniture to choose from. All are solid wood so you know it is good quality and will last a long time. Delivery is a little steep, during the week it is done by an outside company but on the weekends the owner and son deliver it. They said they did not make any money from it but still charged the same as the professional movers.

If you need a lot of guidance this is the place, they have a great selection and patient employees. You have to make an appointment and should just know that going in...they will try and help without an appointment but you will likely get frustrated! So make it easy on yourself, make an appointment!
I would use them for dramatic bathrooms, but not the simple ones..they are pricey in comparision to other stores..but they do deliver and stand behind their product. Carly was great help in assisting us--actually she is in the Falls Church store!!!

I love this store!
Just walking through it gives you so many great ideas for storage and how you could better organize your life.
The staff is very responsive and helpful too.
The storage options are more expensive than you'd find at Target, but then again - you'd never find most of this stuff at Target!
The present wrapping section is awesome, with a great selection.
They also have every size box you could ever imagine, especially at a such a great price.
The kitchen section is wonderful too - storage, and shelves and more.
And of course, they sell ELFA there - a customizable method for making closets (and more) more useful.
Don't miss them at the holidays, for great little stocking stuffers or Hanukkah presents!

White Flint Florist came in way under budget for my wedding flowers. They brought in the most amazing bouqeuets, table setting flowers, sprinkled flowers everywhere, brought extra flowers for the cake and an extra throwing bouquet for me. The flowers were stunning – everyone complimented us on them (even though White Flint Florist did all the work and picked the most complimentary flowers). I had vague colors in mind and told them which colors to stay away from, but other than that they had free reign and a budget. Really made the wedding ballroom look like we’d spent thousands and thousands on flowers. HIGHLY recommended.
