Over priced, rude mechanic and couldnt even get the job done right. I wil never take my car back to this location nor fill my tank up with their gas as the station mgr. recommended this horrible mechanic.. They should shut down this business. I was appalled with the service and the mechanic was something out of mechanic reject school... DONT GO THERE more

Radiator rip-off: I had my Honda accord repaired at Valero Auto Repair on 3303 San Felipe Rd. I was charged $884.53 for what I was told would be original parts. The radiator that was installed wasn??????t a fit for the car and model. It wasn??????t a new part either and the cap wasn??????t fitting on the radiator and had to be replaced. The engine started heating up after the repair and the folks at the gas station across the street discovered the Valero people had left a brush inside the AC fan, causing the AC fan to remain stuck and heating up the engine and making the AC not work properly. I went to Valero and reported these complaints. I feel badly betrayed as a consumer. I have been robbed by these people. They had left the brush inside the fan so I would go back and they had one more opportunity to charge me untold amounts for replacing and well-functioning fan. Please avoid these unprofessional, incompetent and dishonest thieves at all costs. I have the paper-work for teh 7/18/06 repair and will file my complainst with the Valero HQ and consumer protection agency and anywhere else I can more

I went there recently to get a window motor fixed. They fixed it okay but charged me twice as much as the dealer would have charged me for the parts. They also recommended an additional $1500 worth of work which was not required according to another mechanic and they estimated at 1.5X the dealer price. more
