I suspected this store would be more expensive than buying online, but we stopped in anyway to ask some questions and see some of the cameras up close. The woman who helped us (at...

Most helpful and professional camera store in town. 9/14/2011

Creve Coeur Camera is the most helpful and reasonable priced camera store I have been to. I have been to many across this country. They definitely are not a discount store, thank god for that. Chris, Jessica and all the others are more than helpful. They take the time necessary to answer all my questions. I was on a recent trip and had a lense fail. I called Chris and he offered to send me the lense I needed if I knew of an address I would be at the next day. Unfortuneitly I didn't have an address. He looked up several photo shops in the towns I knew I was going to be in. Creve Coeur Camera at the Telegraph location will get my photo business, cameras, lenses and accessories purchases. more

Saved the day! 8/30/2011

As the mother of 4 young children, a full time student, and a generally busy person, nobody should be surprised that I procrastinated with my holiday cards. I'd tried to use a few other websites to design a quick and cute card from photos but I couldn't come up with anything I loved. CCC saved the day!\r \r The online card making system for CCC does have a bit of a learning curve if you want to be very creative. However, once I figured out how to make it do what I wanted it to do it was no trouble at all. In a matter of 2 days I was able to design, pay for, print and pick up the cutest holiday cards ever. An employee even called to make sure one of my photos was the way I intended it to be (what can I say, I'm a little strange, lol). It was, so the cards were printed and ready to pick up the next day. My full-of-personality cards were great and I even got them to most of my friends and family before the holidays passed us all by! more

Canon Rebel Class with Ed Szczepanski 1/5/2011

This was my 2nd class with Ed and he is an extremely talented instructor. The details are kept simple and there are always examples which helps me to understand the information better. He is very smart and is capable of answering any question. I will definitely take more classes from Ed. \r \r Everyone who is interested in photography should sign up for any class with Ed. You will find it well worth the money and very informative. more

Studio Lighting Class with Ed Szczepanski 9/23/2010

This was my first class with Ed at the O'Fallon, Il location. It was an excellent class and I left with a very good grasp of the equipment and methods used in studio lighting. He was able to answer the questions that were asked of him and had good technical knowledge of the pros and cons of studio lighting techniques and equipment alternatives. I plan on taking more classes related to studio photography. more

Ed Szczepanski 1/19/2010

Ed Szczepanski instructed my one on one camera class @ Creve Coeur Camera in Creve Coeur. He answered my questions on a level that I could understand and gave me information that was pertinent to my needs. Thanks to him I will have awesome action shots of my kids playing sports. Pros: Custom camera class more

Photography Classes 11/2/2009

Portrait Photography class with Ed Szczepanski\r \r This was my first class with Ed at the Creve Coeur location. It was an excellent class and I left feeling like I had a whole new set of tools for taking pictures. He was able to answer any question that was asked of him and had good technical knowledge of all of the cameras that participants in the class were using. \r \r I look forward to taking more classes with Ed. Pros: Great instructor Cons: Wish they offered classes at multiple locations more

One of the nicest places 10/22/2009

Happen to be shopping for something else and found this store. I'm new to the city. The people were very helpful and spent over an hour with my husband and I. Bought a new Nikon d40 and love it. Went back last week and the asst. manager even spent 30 minutes reviewing my photos with me. I highly recommend this shop. VERY NICE PEOPLE Pros: Very Helpful Cons: a little off the road more

very poor return policy 5/15/2009

I recently purchased an item from the OFallon store. The store manager assured me it would fit my camera so I purchased it and took it home. When I tried it on my camera it would not fit. The next day I drove back to OFallon (75 miles one way) to return it. The store manager said that he would have to send me a check in a week or so because he did not have enough cash to refund my $161.00. After calling and complaining to their main store I was still unable to get my refund.\r \r If the manager really didn't have enough cash on hand to refund my purchase he should have at least had the authority to write me a check on the spot. I could imagine what would have happened if I tried to buy an item from them and told them I would send them a check in a week or so. lol\r \r Now I no longer have the item and only have their word that the check is in the mail.\r Pros: I certainly can't think of any right now! Cons: very poor return policy more

Don't waist your time or money 6/9/2008

For developing of pictures they are vastly over priced. Wolf camera and Walgreens and Schillers are much cheaper and do better quality work. When you attempt to buy products from them , they push their house brand promaster (I call it progarbage) because it is cheaper. They sell you a $2000.00 SLR then they want you to put an after market piece of junk lens on it. Do they know anything about photography ? Lastly, they are rude and not very helpful . I really think they are on their way to closing or bankruptcy. I would not trust buying something there because they may be closing shop the next day. Cons: Rudeness, expensive, not knowledgeable more
