Chinatown Buffet

Food was good service horrible the lady at the front desk tried over charging me 2xs i caught her both times she gave me a face and started saying something in chinese not my fault i caught u if u decide to go there make sure they arent over charging you!!!!! more

Always a good selection, food is good, cook-bar is clean. Service is usually above average. The person that rated it poor, must have been having a "bad-hair" day and just couldn't have been satisfied, even if the food was free. I used to eat there 4-5 times a week, but, since I've retired, only get there maybe once a week and am still happy to go there. more

I must say I was apprehensive after reading the one poor review. I am thankful for the other reviews which guided us to our choice. We enjoyed everything about our visit; a large variety of dishes, extremely fast service (in which I did give gratuity), I would highly recommend this restaurant. The one opposing review should share where we might find better fare. But I believe he/she must own or work at one near Chinatown Buffet. lol more

Good: nothing. rated 1 because wasn't allowed to Rate it 0.. Bad: service, quality, price. This restaurant should not be in business.. Improvements: New cooks, new employees, new management who doesn't call you a liar and scam you out of your hard-earned money, new recipes so the food doesn't taste disgusting.. Other: I will never step food in the restaurant again.They told us the wrong buffet price on the phone (we only went because it was so cheap) then charged us the real, far higher price and called us liars. They were rude and offensive. Please, please, never support such an insulting, greedy, disgusting, & poorly run & managed restaurant. Sincerely, please do not give this restaurant your hard-earned money. Go somewhere else instead of having a night of bad vibes, WAY overpriced food, & an upset stomach to follow. more

Chinatown Buffet is the best Chinese Buffet in Champaign. A plethora of choices fills ones stomach. There is plenty of Chinese and American food to choose from. Many nights also sees a made to order grill. The potstickers are probably the best buffest potstickers I have ever tasted. Chinatown Buffet is very affordable as well. Great tastes and light on the pocket book make the Chinatown Buffet in Champaign one of my favorite places to eat. more

There are many Chinese buffets here but only two of them have a lot of choices. Chinatown boffet is one of them. When I went to MD, my friend brought me to one of their Chinese buffets. There are supposed to be many good Chinese buffets there because in MD there are many Chinese. However, Chinatown buffet in U-C is certainly able to compete with those in MD. If my memory is correct, they have six counters of food. And they always have coupon available. Price is less then $10 for lunch and a little bit higher than $10 for dinner. more
