I love Celebrity Cruise lines! They really anticipate your every need possible! We took the Mercury to Alaska and it was absolutely beautiful. We had a suite that had it's own balcony and if you go to Alaska definitely splurge on this category room! You will have unrestricted views of the shoreline (which is only about 300 yards away) and your own butler/room steward that goes beyond the normal housecleaning. Our first night, he brought us hors d'oeuvres and wine before dinner the first night and noticed which types we liked and didn't like and brought those mostly for the rest of the week.
Plenty of photo opportunities and it was beautiful, the food was absolutely wonderful and the quality of people on these cruises is much better than some of the other cruise lines. Not to be snobby, but the manners and etiquette was much more polished and friendly. The kids were much better behaved.
They have grand shore excursions as well and a fabulous spa. You HAVE to use the Thalossotherapy pool at least once, you'll never want to get out!
