Every year it is a must place to go to. The staff is very friendly and it is centrally located which makes it very easy to get to any place in Newport. The hotel has plenty of atmosphere. Parking is limited so I recommend valet parking even though it may take time to get your car. The rooms are quaint and my wife loves the oatmeal soap. I highly recommend it.

Bannister's Wharf Guest Rooms are located near the Marina in Newport, overtop of the Bannister's Wharf gift shops and stores. There are regular hotel rooms with water views, and apartments available as well. The price is incredible for what you are getting, which is a great room within walking distance to everything on America's Cup road - all of the restaurants, shops, the Yacht Club, Newport Jazz Club - you couldn't ask for a better location.

My family and I stayed at this inn when we visited Newport for the first time. The location is great, right near all the shops and restaurants, but it is not noisy. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, which was decorated in a very eclectic style, and the breakfast we had each morning was very good. We had an excellent time on our visit, and would definitely stay at this inn again.

Overall, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Wellington Resort.
You can't beat Newport's harbor, shops and people, and the Wellington is in the middle of it all!
The amenities and accommodations are among the best I've seen, and I've been to a lot of hotels/resorts during my business and leisure travels.
I would definitely recommend the Wellington to my friends and family.

Had a quick getaway weekend and chose the Chanler for the view. What a thrill it was to open the door to my room. The rooms are nothing like I had ever seen. Stunning.
Dinner in the Spiced Pear was superb, couldn't ask for a better view or ambiance.
Great get away!
Want to bring a small business group back with me!

Very nice victorian style bed and breakfast located very conveniently right above a beach and right next to the famous Cliff Walk. The innkeeper was super nice and accomodating. I highly recommend the Cliffside in for it's perfect location, beautifully decorated inn and friendly staff. If you go to Newport, don't forget to go on a tour of the nearby mansions!

Can be difficutl to find if not familiar with all the side streets of newport. gorgeous historic building with elengant decor that keeps withthe time. Great staff. Good service. Pricey but goes with newport. very busy during the summer months and on weekends. Recommended.
