Used Car Buyers beware! Especially if you live out of state. I was told that my pre-approved loan wouldn’t be accepted on Monday. I applied for & was approved for a loan with their in house lender on Tuesday. I was told that I would avoid paying California sales tax if I shipped the car, arranged shipping and asked to be faxed the sales contract. They requested more information, drivers license, insurance info. Sent it Tuesday evening, and again Wednesday morning. I guess they couldn’t open the attachment. Wednesday afternoon was again told that I’d have to pay California sales tax because I was financing the car. Was told that their lender thought I lived in California which was BS as I had spoken to the lender directly on Tuesday. Thursday AM comes, no phone calls, no e-mail, no text messages. I call and e-mail several times. Around 1 PM I finally get a call from the dealership telling me that they sold the car Wednesday night! I have documentation to prove it all.\r
If you are calling from out of state, beware of the used car sales department manager Ed Warran. \r
