We started shopping at Books Inc. just to support the local bookstore in an era full of faceless chains at malls. But now we're wholehearted fans. It's a great place to get though...

Great service! 5/18/2006

I randomly stopped by Books Inc. when I was in Burlingame the other day and they have a pretty good selection and very good customer service. They also have a system where when you buy books they write down the prices you've paid and after you buy 10 books you get the average price of those ten off on your next purchase! It's great to use local businesses too! more

Nice store, good location 5/5/2006

We randomly went into this store on Burlingame Ave and found some nice books for the kids rather quickly. The salesperson was a bit on the chatty side but did come right up and ask if I needed help (it wasn't easy to tell where to pay -- there are three "registers"). They also have a card that when you buy books they write down how much you spent per book and after you've bought 10 books they average the price of the books you've bought and you get that off your next purchase! more

Awesome Staff 7/15/2005

I love going to this bookstore because I know I'll always find what I want, they have great staff, and I'm supporting a local bookstore (instead of Barnes Noble).They have books, magazines, calendars, foreign books and magazines, DVD's, gifts, greeting cards, and probably a lot more. It's located in a convenient place, so you can grab something to eat on the Ave before you settle down and read (they have great "benches" in the kid's section wherre you can sit down and various chairs around the store). more
