Barb Thomas is the best DJ ever! She is very nice, great voice, love the theme park and I really missed her when I moved to Atlanta. Good job getting that award Barb!

The DJ Howard Stern would be disappointed in Barb. She has a reputation for being nice. On the surface, this doesn't seem to be too soul-shaking--lots of people are nice. But how many people can say they've won awards for this personality trait? Barb can. According to City Weekly magazine in 1996, she's absolutely the "Nicest DJ" around. What do you expect from someone whose high school nickname was "Bible Barb"? This doesn't mean all of her thoughts are pure. If Barb had to choose a favorite between Donny and Marie, she'd choose Donny in a heartbeat because he was rather sexy in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." The Show Barb gets down to business and doesn't spend a lot of time chatting, so the show is devoted mostly to music. Her regular features include Commuter Comedy and Barb's Request Fest that runs from 7pm to 8pm each evening. Program Format Alternative rock.
