We went here for a close friends wedding, it is a beautiful place, the food was delicious, the staff could not do enough for everyone. It's a great hotel but if any of you are lo...

Worst

I never suspected that steak frites could be so bad. My steak was grey and overcooked. The fries weren't fries at all, but rather fried potato strips that looked like they should ...

The most for your money 9/9/2003

Wonderful food in a beautiful setting. We were able to be seated promptly on a friday night and had wonderful service. Great menu selection and the portions were huge....especially for the price. Would recommend to those who enjoy a nice filet or duck. Pros: Great value , Romantic scene, Friendly service more

Not Snobby at all 8/6/2003

If you do not want to deal with snobby hostesses, servers or show off captains and overpriced food like in Delmonicos Steakhouse @ The Venetian, then Mon Ami Gabi is the place to go. The staff was very couteous and attentive, the food was delicious and the view was fantastic. You really get your money's worth. What else do you want? Pros: excellent view, excellent service, delicious food more

Great Steaks & Fries 6/12/2003

Tried this place recently and was very impressed wityh the quality of the food. Also expected little bitty ""European"" portions so we were also surprised that the servings were generous as well as tasty. The view is great from the patio, and the service was just right. We will return and suggest if you are in the area of the Paris casiono, you try this place too! Pros: Great Food, Nice Portions, Service more

Ooh la la! Paris in Vegas! 6/5/2003

Without Mon Ami Gabi, the Paris Hotel/Casino would have no claim to the real City of Lights. Mon Ami Gabi (A Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant) serves up authentic French cuisine, as close as I've come since I came back from Paris itself, at prices that, while not unnatural for French cuisine, are by no means exorbitant. A nice ambiance, a great location--have a hankering for some good French food? Mon Ami Gabi is the place to be! Pros: fabulous french, great seating area Cons: location is crowded, often a wait more

Review 3/30/2003

Mon Ami Gabi, Is the best entrée over all for food appearance and wounderful service? We recommend this as the first place to eat lunch or dinner there are by far the best. Never any problems with anything. Sincerely Mrs. Denise Yeghiayan more

Great Place 3/21/2003

The food was excellent as was the service. It was a beautiful day, so we sat on the terrace, and enjoyed watching the water show at the Bellagio. more

Best of the Best 1/31/2003

The patio seating during good weather gives a fantastic view of the Bellagio's water show. All while enjoying wonderful food. A great value. more

Steak to die for 1/23/2003

I have eaten at Mon Ami Gabi several times now, and it gets better everytime. It can be very crowed at times, but if you eat a little later in the evening the wait is very short. I would recommend their steaks highly. They are prepared a little different but are tremendous. Pros: Great View, Elegant more

Wonderful! 1/17/2003

My husband and I went to Mon Ami Gabi for a romantic dinner after hearing rave reviews from our friends. Everything about Mon Ami Gabi was great -- the service was attentive without being obnoxious, the food was served quickly and tasted great, and the prices are completely reasonable. While we didn't eat outside, I would definitely go back for a lunch in the outside patio. What a great way to spend your time in Vegas! Pros: ambience, food more

a wonderful place in Strip 12/26/2002

Firstly, I have to recommend the good waiter Gerhard, a short guy with golden hair. He is a pro. We order a swordfish and a shrimp provi...(like pasta) by the waiter's recommendation, and both of them are delicious. The fish is melting in your mouth, and the shrimp is so tasty. If you don't come with a big group, you usually can sit near window and have the view of Bellagio's fountain show. The price is a little high, but it's still worth. We stay in Vegas for 5 days and recommend this place as one must-go. Pros: tasty food, big-portioned dessert, professional waitor more

Wedding Dinner Blues 12/18/2002

At first the service was great but as the evening wore on the waitress dissapeared and we had to chase her down. She hadn't listened when we asked her to stop serving wine and just bring people drinks by the glass, instead she kept opening more bottles. They double charged us for drinks guests ordered at the bar, my uncle paid for them but they added them to our bill as well.We couldnt get an answer on how much the cake would cost and they only had 1 cake that was small enough for 16.They wouldn't substitute the desert course with the cake so by the time we had the cake my guests were so full they didn't want it. My feelings on this place are mixed, food and view were outstanding but because of the final cost and waste I was dissapointed in the service overall. Pros: great food, great view Cons: service faltered, outrageous final bill, no planning budget more

Great outside location 12/5/2002

My husband and I always eat here when we go to Las Vegas. Its across the street from the water show at the Bellagio. Get a table outside. The food is o.k. but it great to people watch and at night it's just a magical place sitting under the stars. I've had almost everything on the menu. I recommend the steaks and clams Pros: location, outside dining, romantic Cons: some of the foods, prices more

French Fries to Die For! 9/25/2002

My boyfriend, his family, and I were staying at Paris. On our last ay, we had lunch at Mon Ami Gabi. My steak was delicious but the French fries, or I should say, the pommes frites, were out of this world! Best I've ever had! Excellent ambiance and service. Highly recommended if you are in the area! Pros: delicious food, good service, great ambiance more

Best Seating in Las Vegas 7/31/2002

Mon Ami Gabi is excellent - especially if you can get a table on the outside patio in the evening. As you enjoy a beautiful glass of wine, some patee and a wonderful view of the Bellagio water show, you also can see all the happenings along the strip and enjoy the Eifel Tower. The price is right and the place is great. more

Tant mieux, Paris in Las Vegas 7/12/2002

Fantastic food, drink & service. All with the atmosphere of Paris. Seating near the window overlooks the water show across the street at The Bellagio every 20 minutes. more

GREAT Steak Frites 6/20/2002

Tried this place and was shocked at how tasty the food was. We expected the restaurant would rely on their atmosphere and view from the patio. Not so, we both had steaks with fries which were excellent. Service was a bit slow due to the large crowd that was there when we visited. Cost appeared to be in-line with the quality and quantity provided. We will return and suggest readers give MAG a try. Pros: Food, View (Patio) Cons: Crowded more

Romantically Delicious! 6/12/2002

Nice little place in the Paris Hotel, where you could easily pretend you're in the real city. The food is delicious. My husband had a yummy peppercorn steak and I had a buttery chicken. I'd definitely recommend it. Better than what you might find at most places on the strip. Pros: Decent house wine Cons: Expensive more

To Fall In Love Again 6/6/2002

I took my fiance to this little gem inside the Paris Hotel and Casino. What a wonderful treat. The food, from appetizers to dessert, was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect for a night of romance: candles on the table, a bottle of French wine, nice music and low lights. My only complaint was the slow service from the bar in preparing our cocktails. But that was soon forgotten as we dined on Steak Au Pouive, Pomme Frites and Frisee salad. Request a table next to the windows overlooking the fountains at the Bellagio. Magnifique! Pros: Romantic, Excellent service, Good menu choices Cons: Stuffy entrance, Slow bar service more
