Luxe at Alewife

I've been here at Cambridgepark for about 2.5 years now.\r The building was bought and management was changed about a year and a half or so ago, so the reviews complaining about poor management was about the previous management.\r They do have some issues.\r The fire alarm is really finicky. If someone is cooking and causes smoke, IF they open their door and let the smoke into the hall, it WILL set off the alarm. This happens maybe 2 times a month.\r It's pretty expensive, but the location is perfect.\r You can cross the street and hop on the T.\r Route 2 is a block away and so is Route 16. Both major roads that take you pretty much anywhere.\r As for the crazy person saying you will get stuff stolen or a bunch of druggies, I've never once smelled smoking of any type here. The building is very secure, and I can't imagine anyone ever having anything stolen.\r A great awesome plus is the building has AMAZING sound insulation between units.\r If it's in your price range, this is a great place to c more

When we started to raise the problem they suggested we move out.\r \r Unresponsive, incompetent (they have no clue about Mass. law and hired a dummy-playing attorney), obnoxious management.\r \r Good place for dope smokers & tobacco addicts. NOT a good place for children, non-smokers, elderly etc. more

You will hear 2 fire alarm in one week. It is not at noon, not at evening but I will be at midnight. They also don't have parking for guest.My car was towed 3 x even though I am a tenant. Pricey, however it is a good environment. One more thing, don't forget to lock your apartment, otherwise something will be stolen even you only away for 10 seconds more
