A 7 am grooming drop off that took 2 minutes ( not 20 minutes) was a stress reliever as I dashed to work before 8 am! Thank you!!

I have mixed feeling about this hospital. I don't recommend it for everyone and for those that do go there, I gaurantee you that you have had a different experience almost every ...

Truly depresses me to have put my pet's health on the line here. Nice people. Incompetent, unorganized, and they just don't care about customer service...or you...or your pet.\r Go somewhere else. Don't waste a bunch more

I have been struggling to stay loyal to these clowns for over 15 years now. Enough is enough. What a terribly run clinic. deplorable customer service. Find a different vet. I did. more

Excellent Service 1/24/2012

I was going to be out of town for about a week and had to board my dog and cat. My regular vet was full so I ended up bringing them to the Animal Medical Hospital at the last minute, luckily they still had room. They were very nice while I booked the appointment and dropped them off, but what really impressed me was when I came back to pick them up. I was very excited when they told me my total! It was actually about $100 less than what I was anticipating. I will definitely be back! more

Thanks for great work you all have provided for my family and I. We have had to come in a few times this past year for the emergency services and have just recently utilized the boarding services. I know my dogs are receiving great care when we come to the Animal Medical Hospital. more

Will recommend 1/2/2012

I brought my cat into the Animal Hospital on Teasley Lane for the first time a few weeks ago. I am not very close by but after a horrible experience at our last vets’ office, I was in need of a new veterinarian. We saw Dr. Sheehan and just adored her. She was so kind and caring about my kitty. The staff was just as good as she was and I am very pleased with you all. more

Highly Recommed! 12/22/2011

Our dog was diagnosed with cancer and it was devastating for our family. Dr. Coe took the time to explain everything fully, address all of our concerns and give us sound, reasonable advice. The Doctor was simply a relief- the rest of the staff was excellent and the place is clean and bright as well. more

Dr. Coe is an amazing veterinarian. My dog had issues with his heart. Dr. Coe was able to diagnose this and refer us to a specialist immediately. The staff even got us an appointment the same day. My poor baby had congestive heart failure but survived! It is apparent that Dr. Coe and staff truly care about their patients. more

my visit 7/19/2011

i was extremely happy with my visit to this hospital,my pom murphy was in severe distress with shortness of breath and severe wheezing,,he was taken back immediately and in my opinion was was given the best care any companion could receive,,dr anderson was very polite and professional,,she had a treatment plan within 20 min,,was empathetic to me about the condition of murphy,,she was up front with me about estimated cost to treat him,the staff were very freindly,,i was able to see him during his stay,,i will not go to anyone other hospital except this one,,i will add the other doctors were just as polite as this lady was,,thank you from my heart for taking great care of him and i know murphy thanks you too more

Bad care 4/22/2011

Nice facility. Poor service, reccommendations, outrageous pricing, and no concern but $$ for my pets. I told the dr what I thought was wrong and she disregarded everything I said. They performed 2 tests that were unnecessary. Physical exam- 95, parvovirus-73. Check it out before you go. I ended up with a 430 bill, 3 hr wait, all for diarrhea from dog food change (what I told them in the beginning!) very upset and will never go back again, or reccommend. more

Camp AMH rocks! 12/30/2010

I just boarded my pets there over the holidays. All three of my dogs came home worn out. This is a sign that they must have had a great time. For two days now they've all been laying around the house. We signed them up for the 3 walks and private play time each day and boy was it worth it! We're back from vacation and able to settle back in without 3 crazy dogs running around the house. Not to mention that they sent home a cute picture of them during their play time. It was our first time boarding there and it won't be our last. We'll be back & bringing as many of their friends with them! more

Don't Board Here!!! 11/23/2010

The boarding facility is horrible. It is staffed by young, inexperienced workers who know nothing about a dog's nature. They are over -crowded and the dogs are kept in cages; tops & bottoms like a puppy mill. The cages are floor to ceiling -- Apparently, so they can cram as many animals into the room as possible to make more money. Over-priced, under staffed with non professionals. more

Kind and Compassionate 11/7/2010

We just moved to Charlotte and had not found a vet. Our dog got very sick Saturday night and we had to put our precious pet to sleep on Sunday morning. The staff and doctors were very compassionate and helped us feel better about saying good-bye to our 11-yr-old golden. We did have the option of a long hospital stay and expensive treatment if we chose, but with an older pet this seemed unrealistic. They were kind, realistic, compassionate. I hope the next time I visit it will be for happier reasons. more

Having gone to different vets throughout the years, I can say that AMH has been the best all-around vet we have been too. The vets and staff are all extremely kind, patient with questions, and genuinely love animals. They were extremely helpful with our 220 lb Mastiff who had a surgery done to his leg, to remove a tumor. They were also exceedingly kind and gentle with us when we lost our beloved Rottweiler to cancer back in January. They held our hand though the cancer, and were there for us when she passed. She passed away in our backseat as we drove to the vet to put her down. They got her into a room, treated her body lovingly, and the vet hugged us and spent a while with us until her body was picked up for cremation. This was all without charge. Although we've like every vet we've met there, Dr. Broel is our favorite: down to earth, no making you feel like your spending money on unneeded treatment/items, and she truly loves animals and her practice. Thanks for everything more

Animal Medical Hospital is caring and the best!!! 9/19/2009

I have been a client of this practice for 4 years and found it to have only caring attentive staff both doctors and in back. I have been able to visit the kennel while boarding my pet ane been very satisified with the cleanliness and care given to my pets. The charges that I have had have ranged from a routine examination to a very difficult surgery of significant expense but, I felt that my pet was given the best of care and I received the communication that I deserved from the doctors. There has always been someone available to answer my concerns after hours. I do not have a great income but would not dream of taking my 6 cats and 4 dogs anywhere else. more

Animal Medical Hospital is the best Hospital in the Carolinas! 9/15/2008

First, I would like to say that the medical care at AMH is outstanding. I live 1 1/2 hours away and drive there to have my pet taken care of. I have visited the kennel and it is not as Mandy O. said. The kennel is clean, temperature controlled, and the staff is outstanding. Everyone there, from the front desk staff, treatment, doctors, kennel, treatment, and even the managers are professional. I've always been greeted with a smile and compassionate care. I remember Mandy O. Weren't you a previous employee there? Sounds like you're a little bitter to me... You actually checked in my pets a few times & I think that you no longer working there is a great help to AMH. I would recommend this clinic to anyone...and I do. They really have the care of the pet at heart. more
