Good: Dr. Chan was my orthodontist 42 years ago! In 1968, I started out with a retainer in the 3rd grade & graduated to the full-on metal mouth by 6th grade. I didn't get them off until I was 15 & in the 9th grade, so as you can imagine, I was a work in progress...big sideways overbite & Dr. Chan did it all without surgery back then. I moved to a different state at 15, so I still had the follow-ups to do with a new dentist. When my molds & records arrived, my new orthodontist jaw literally dropped. Bad: and he said that he couldn't believe that Dr. Chan could have accomplished what he did without surgery and then he said that he was a very, very good orthodontist. I always wore my retainer and at 22 years old, I finally had the lower "permanent" retainer taken off. My teeth HAVE NOT MOVED at all after all these years and I will soon be 50! I am so glad to see that Dr. Chan is still practicing and I'll stop in the next time I visit SoCal this summer!.
