Troy’s crew at Tidwell Auto has taken care of all of the vehicles that I have owned for the last 15 years, from full engine rebuilds to routine monthly oil changes. That’s right; I put 100 miles per day on my vehicle and get the oil changed every month. The Tidwell staff has taken care of all of the makes and models of cars and trucks I have owned. We sent two kids off to college, one to Texas Tech and one to TWU in Denton all of the work needed to keep their cars running safely and dependably was performed at Tidwell Auto. I drove a 1995 Chevy Tahoe for 12 years and put 367,000 miles on it. I never had an engine or transmission problem, with Troy’s folks doing all of the maintenance. They did the brakes 3 or 4 times. They rebuilt the front end twice and replaced the air conditioner. When I look back on the years of dependable transportation from that truck, the cost of vehicle ownership was less than 10 cents per mile.
