Having just turned 18 and about to start college, I desperately needed a reliable set of wheels since the car I got when I turned 16 from my parents was literally on it's last leg. Of course I tried all the major new car dealerships and was rejected by each and everyone. Now, any native Houstonian knows that I-45 north just outside the loop has several used car lots with in-house financing which is what a first-time buyer like me needed (or someone with terrible credit). I made several stops at various dealers in this area, and it was one disappointment after another. The cars I wanted I couldn't afford and the ones I could afford were disgusting. In my last attempt I stopped at Team Certified when I saw the quality and variety of their inventory. When we started looking at different vehicles, we were greated politely (not ambushed) by a very attractive young man with a warm smile named Armando Tello, Jr. He answered all of our questions and let us take as many test drives as we wanted. Once we had narrowed down our choices, he presented us with CarFax reports for each vehicle to help us make an educated decision. Even when it came time to talk finance, I was surprised at how friendly the whole team was and how hard they worked to get me into the vehicle of my dreams. My down payment was fair, my payments are great, and I got a hot date out of the deal. The great thing is that even if they didn't have the car that I wanted on the lot, they would search the area and find the one that was right for me, new or used! This is a family owned and operated business, and you really get a feeling for that when you walk through the door. You cannot leave this place and not feel like winner. It's worth it just to stop by and look. Be sure and tell everyone you know! Pros: Family owned/operated, Great selection, Incredible deals
