I love Coverings. Coming from Los Angeles, Coverings was like a gift from God while I was in college. The store opened my sophomore year. SLO has changed a lot - back when I was in school you had a choice of The Gap or Express for clothes, literally every girl at Cal Poly wore the same exact things. Enter Coverings. It is expensive and they always charge retail price for everything - they do have som great sales, though. Anyway, I was back in town on Sunday 9/30 and I went into the new store which now includes mens and lots of cute accessories. The buyers have the best taste and I feel like Coverings is just...me. I still have things I bought like 5 years ago and they are still cute. I was heartbroken when they stopped carrying size 32, though. I'm big and tall! I spent most of my student loan checks there - life was good. Awesome jeans, great knit stuff, and on occassion Frye shoes and boots. Not cheap, though - so don't come in expecting to pay less than 50 bucks for a top. Pros: Great style, new big location, cool accessories, now have Marc Jacobs stuff Cons: Staff could be more friendly, no size 32 in womens
