Review content:
I went to Beatrice after reading the glowing reviews on this website and was very disappointed. At the first fitting she spent most of the appointment telling me what an awful lot of work needed to be done on my dress and going on and on trying to justify how expensive it was going to be. At the end she quoted me $350 to alter a $175 dress. I was shocked at the price so I told her I needed to think about it, left the dress with her, and went home to call around. I spoke with four other seamstresses, one who I know is excellent (she lives out of state or I would have used her for this), and they all told me to run, not walk, away from this lady. The necessary alterations will be done for under $100 at a more reputable establishment. When I went to pick up my dress she charged me $35 for the first ""fitting,"" which involved her taking ""before pictures"" and putting about 2 pins in the dress. She refused a check and required me to leave and get cash from an ATM. All in all a very strange and dissatisfying experience.
Cons: Extremely high prices, only accepts cash
