I had collected as a child and recently decided to start collecting again, but this time strictly for investment purposes. I am a lifelong Las Vegan and quite familiar with run of the mill coin shops, swap meets, jewelers and pawnbrokers who sell coins and bullion. Upon walking into the Sahara Coins store though, I was in complete awe of the sheer size of the store. I was equally impressed with the variety and assortment of coins for sale. The huge inventory consisted of raw and slabbed coins, key and semi-key coins which is my personal preference. Since I am re-entering coin collecting at a later stage of life, I was very happy to discover that they offer quite an inventory of complete sets of pennies; nickels and dimes which helped me to jump start my collection. They did not have for sale problem coins, so I felt confident in the integrity of the store and the quality of their coins. I had expressed an interest in some coins which were not in their current inventory and they were happily willing to find what I was looking for and hold it until my next visit. The sales people were extremely patient and polite and very informative. All other stores in Las Vegas pale in comparison to Sahara Coins. I would highly recommend this store to anyone I know who is considering buying coins or investing in their future.
