...and I've been to quite a few of them across the country.
Not sure what Tallick is talking about concerning the selection as this store has over 10,000 titles on DVD available for rent (yes, I asked how many at the store). When there is a movie that the store doesn't have, there is ALWAYS the offer to order it to get it in...not just for me to buy it, but if I just want to rent it once. Not sure how much better it can get.
As for the membership requirements, they no longer require a landline, but do require a credit/debit card with a MC or VISA logo if you don't have a landline. I know that it seems antiquated to even ask about a landline, but, seriously, how else do they verify the information you give is correct? While there are still honest people out there, it's the ones that aren't that give cause to requirements such as these.
Pros: Nearly UNLIMITED selection, special orders even if you only want to rent the movie (making it more like actually UNLIMITED), same-day holds if the movie/game is in stock at the time of phone call, friendly staff, locally-owned, great prices (lower than BB or HV), clean & well-maintained store, on and on...
