I just want to say up front that the owners seem nice and our dogs have been to X-treme K-9 a couple of times before this incident for half a day of day play and we didn't notice any problems up till this point, but maybe we didn't look hard enough..... Just this weekend though (4-3-10)we took our dogs here for a 3 day, 2 night stay while we were on vacation. All seemed fine till we got them home and we found a live tick on some of our stuff from where it had fallen on the floor next to the dogs. After the inital finding we shaved the dogs down completely and they were covered in ticks. We spent four hours shaving, pulling ticks off and rebathing our dogs after driving 3 hours home from vacation. We were up till midnight and my husband had to use another day of PTO to help with damage control! De-ticking supplies had to be purchased for dogs, home and vehicle and when the owner of X-treme K-9 was informed of the problem, we got a ""sorry"" and ""I guess I'll have to respray"". We will never take our dogs back and I wouldn't reccommend this place just for health reasons for both human and canine family members. I'd give them zero stars if possible as this is animal creulty as far as I'm concerned.
