I followed Maribel from the city. Not only is she my stylist but she has become my friend over the 10 years I?ve been with her. We have built a relationship out side of her salon and that review is just bogus!! I've gone to Velvet Roses (just to say hi) on occasion and I've seen Ruthie and Maribel walk clients out in the rain with an umbrella so they don?t mess up their ?do? or run to the local 99 cent store to get umbrellas etc. I mean I?ve been there that it feels more like a deli than a salon, her mom often making yummy coffee, giving out cookies heck I?ve even been fortunate to have some homemade rice and beans (so now you see why I just stop by)! Both Maribel and Ruthie accommodate late and early clients the same, always with a smile....so honestly why did this ""B"" write that mean review! If she wasn't happy with her hair then fine, but don't be malicious and lie about the service, because I'm sure that even if you weren't 100%satisfied with the results service was given with a smile like always.
Pros: Fancy looking, Expert Stylist but not stuffy or snooty! Owner and Employee always has a smile. Family Enviorment.
Cons: None! None! None! Love Maribel she is the best
