Review content:
I visited for an early lunch/brunch on Sunday, June 13, 2010. Hard to decide from all the cheeses, other dishes, and wines available, but I wanted to try a flight of wines so picked ""Sparkling Beauties"" with 3 sparkling wines and 3 cheeses. I also had an order of Gougeres (delicious and warm from the oven). The wines were a Cava from Spain, a Taittinger ""Cuvee Prestige"" from Champagne, France and an Jura Arbois Rose' from France. The cheeses were three that I really like--Humboldt Fog blue-veined goat cheese, Sonoma, CA, Manchego, Spain, and Comte, France. i was also tempted by a carmelized onion tart, snails or English cheddar sandwich with bacon and apple. I would have liked larger portions of the cheese (as others have noted) even if it meant paying a bit more. The special that Sunday was 100-cheese fondue! Nice atmosphere. Families from young children to grandparents were enjoying brunch. Will want to visit again when in NYC.
Pros: Cheeses, wines, cheeses, wines, other dishes
Cons: The cheese servings could be more generous
