Just wanted to let you know that I have a great stylist/colorist located at the Derby salon on Roosevelt and 64th. His name is Joey and the people at Derby work independently from the Salon. I am not all that impressed with the actual salon but Joey is fantastic. I moved here three years ago and had a tough time finding a new stylist/colorist that listened to what my ideas were with color and with my cuts and he took my ideas and put them into action. (and ensured that I looked and felt good) He calls a few days ahead of time to remind me of appointments, calls a few days after to check in with me to see if I like what I left with or if I had styling questions that have arisen, offers hand massages at times while I am under the dryer, and always gives a scalp massage when rinsing.
I have never received such great service. My color, cut and style usually run me $130. His number is 206-228-JOEY.
