I was incredibly please with this shop. My friends and I came in on a Sunday and the place was packed! There were only 2 artists working, Nick and Lucky, and 2 people up front. The staff was very energetic and very welcoming. I wasn't exactly sure of what I wanted, I just had an idea. I let the staff upfront in on my thoughts and ideas. There was no internet so the girl that was helping me went to Quiznos around and borrowed their computer to print out a few pictures for my friends and I. All 4 of us got tattooed. Nick did the 3 small ones and Lucky did my semi-big (well at least to me) tattoo along my ribs. Even though we had to wait a bit due to the fact that there were only 2 artists, I still enjoyed being there. Everyone made us feel comfortable and wanted. I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Venice Beach. I know the locals already know what's up! I took the time to find a little more information on my artist and found him on myspace.... here is his url: Check out his work and make an appointment: MySpace URL: luckytattooasylum I hope this information has made it easier for you to find a decent tattoo shop in Venice.
