Contrary to the reviews , this spa was not relaxing what so ever! I dont understand how this is one of "the editors favorites" by citysearch.com! The receptionist who refers to people as hon or darling (which is so condescending!!) is so in your face. I came here to relax, not get harassed the minute I walk through the door! The services were mediocre at best and very expensive! Who would ever waste their money with that? I am going to leave it to the pros where I know Ill get good service for less money next time I come to NYC! A big dissapointment! I was also told to show up 15 minutes before my massage and I cannot believe I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my appointment to begin! What a waste of money!
