This place was very terrible. It's the worst italian restaurant ever had. We booked reservation for 31 Dec 06 about 2 months with hoping that we would have a good seating. We saw nice atmosphere on the web and expected that the restaurant should be nice to spend time and money for new year. However, it was very bad experience and not worthed to dine at this restaurant. Everything was bad for this new year eve. It's extremely expensive with no reason.
The seating was very bad. We walked in and called for request seating that can see the grand canal several times but the reservation said that we can request for that particular seating when arrival. However, when we arrived the restaurant, they said only seating outside the restaurant because the upstair was only for group party. So we had to sat outside the restaurant.
The food was not in a good conditiion. The New Year Eve menu was prepared as a 5 courses set menu. We had several choices for appetizer and main course. We order tuna stuffing and lobster for appetizer. The tuna stuffing was still in frozen condition and the lobster turned to be large shirmp instead. For main course, we ordered the lamb with medium cooked. It took long time to get this plate. The lamb was burnt and too much cooked. By the way, the food was not like italian tast at all.
In overall, this restaurant experience was horrible. We spent $470 including 18% gaditude for two person with no value. I hardly imagine to have this kind of food and service for this much amount of money.
