Review content:
I have been in Austin for almost 2 years and have been desperately searching for someone to style my hair. Last April, I had a complete disaster on my head - seriously, the worst haircut I could ever imagine. I tried several other places (mostly expensive) to fix my hair and no one could help me. Then, I found Ciao Bella and Melissa. What a wonderful salon and hair stylist. I was so nervous going in and those feelings were quickly put to rest. Melissa and Tiffany both looked at my hair and talked me through what they thought the best options were for my situation. So, off I went to the shampoo chair for the most fabulous head and neck massage (mommies, this is a MUST!) and it's part of thier service! Back to the chair, where Melissa took her time, walked me through each change she made and showed me several styling options for any occasion. She even threw in a cute clip! My husband was so impressed with the transformation, he has started seeing Melissa as well. I have been back and I am happy to say each cut has been marvelous and we can finally see the light at the end of this hair wreck! :) The other thing I like is there is NO pressure to purchase product or upgrade you to color, highlights, etc. If you want those items, they are willing to talk to you about options and what is best for you. Melissa has been a delightful person to work with and I look forward to seeing everyone when I go get my haircut - they have become like family. Just happy to see you and visit with you for a while! Please check Salon Ciao Bella out - you will be pleasantly surprised! Pros: People, price, style and service Cons: Don't know of one - I make my appts early in the a.m. so parking is not an issue
