I went to Celebrity Kids to have pictures made of my family. My kids were spent after the shoot and the baby needed to eat, so instead of picking my pictures that day like their customers are usually pressured to do, I asked if I could come back at a later date. I told them that there were some pictures that I definitely wanted, but I just couldn't do it right then. I really needed to go and feed the baby. They said that would be OK, just call and make an appointment to come and view at a better time. About 9 days had gone by and they called to ask if I still wanted to view the pictures. I had been out of town at a business meeting so I called them back on day 11 post shoot. We scheduled an appt to view the pictures on day 12 post photo shoot. I went to the studio to view the pictures and they had been deleted. They had no good explaination as to how this happened except to say that most customers pick their pictures on the day that they are taken. I explained that my baby needed to eat and it was going to take me a while to pick the pictures that I wanted, but they still seemed to think that I was the one at fault. No one told me of any impending deletion of my photos and I was so upset that they deleted them. There were some adorable shots of my baby and it takes an act of congress for me to get my husband to commit to a photo shoot. I was just sooo disappointed. I cannot understand why they would delete files that could be so easily saved to a disc before there is confirmation that a customer is not going to place an order. Honestly, I think I may have spent $500 at this store had they not so carelessly erased my pictures. Oh well, needless to say, I do not recommend them because you just don't know what could happen, plus they were pretty unapologetic that I lost 2 vacation days with nothing to show for it. One vacation day to do the photo shoot and one day to go and view the pictures. All they offered me was another photo shoot without charging the $35 sitting fee. There goes another vacation day for my husband and I. I chose not to go there. If I do have pictures made again, it won't be with Celebrity Kids.
