I bought an air conditioner from P C Richard and Sons, but it wasn't working properly. They told me they'd exchange it during a 3 hour window of time, but didn't show. This was during a dangerous heat wave. I called and they gave me another 3 hour time period to wait, that same day. Again, no show! They told me to wait until 6, and around 6:30 pm they did show (I'd been waiting since 10 am) -- but without any tools!! I had really no way to uninstall and return it myself without spending as much as the a/c originally cost. They convinced me to arrange another time the next day, promising "first thing in the morning" and a refunded installation. Again a no-show! When I demanded at 12:50, "You get someone here in 10 minutes!" the manager on the phone responded, "Or else? What are you going to do?" Shocked, I went to another store, bought a new a/c, and paid them to uninstall the other one. I informed PC Richard when the a/c would be downstairs for pick-up, and PC Richard agreed to pick it up at that time. They showed up one full week later, and the a/c was long gone. They then refused to refund me for the a/c, the delivery, and the 3 year warranty.
